Donald Trump Renews Attacks on Ted Cruz’s Presidential Eligibility

Republican front-runner Donald Trump on Saturday resumed his questioning of rival Ted Cruz’s presidential eligibility, citing Cruz’s Canadian birth.

“The first thing the Democrats are going to do is sue him on the basis that he’s not a naturalized citizen, he wasn’t born in the country,” Trump said at a rally in Connecticut, which holds its primaries on Tuesday, Politico reported.

Trump backed off his lawsuit threat ASAP when Cruz called his bluff.

All bark and no bite.

I would say actions speak volumes more than just words.

Washington refused to become king after his two terms.

That is the way one acts when one is humble.

This should be the responsibility of the GOP - the party putting forward and endorsing a candidate as being legit and qualified. The party should challenge/determine the eligibility before endorsing candidates. Why should candidates and the general public be doing this?

>>>It’s an interesting matchup, identity politics-wise. Trump is German and Scottish, which are fine things to be. (My own family mix, as it happens.) Cruz is Hispanic, Italian, and Irish. Take your pick, but Cruz wins the food competition.<<<

I’m stupider for reading your post. “identity politics-wise”? is this something Levin the screamer came up with?

Trump - born in the US of US citizens vs Cruz - NOT born in US of NOT us citizen(s?)

That’s all you need to know..... now pick up your garbage you posted, it’s stinking up the thread.

Chester was born in Vermont. Period.

Anything else was just rumors.

Even though Trump is right, he needs to stop this line of attack

Why?

If Cruz is indeed ineligible to hold the office of president, he should not be running.

I can hardly wait to see the answer on this one.

Don't hold your breath. 2DV has been asked to clarify that statement a hundred times, and hasn't responded yet.

Cruz may be an American citizen because his mother may still have been one at time of his birth, even if she renounced her own country to become a Canadian citizen in order to vote.

Wait a minute...how the hell does that work? An illegal voter?

And was Cruz rebelling against his own parents for their overt un-American activities?

You don't seem to be paying attention or don't bother watching the dozens of Trump interviews.

He will stay on the offensive to win as long as it takes. The operative word in Trump's vocabulary is "winning." In every speech and rally, he uses the words win/winning dozens of times.

You don't become a billionaire international business tycoon by giving up. These guys fight to win.

As for this latest redevelopment, Trump is trying to throw Cruz off focusing on stealing his delegates.

That is a FABULOUS idea! What the zerObama's have done as far as spending OUR money on ridiculously expensive vacations, alone, is CRIMINAL!! I believe the PTB NWO puppetmasters that put him in office promised him he & his tribe would love like royalty in return for doing their bidding. THAT MUST END! GO TRUMP!!! 💪

When it appeared that there was going to be a Trump/Cruz joint venture, Trump politely suggested several times to Cruz that he square this issue with the courts somehow. (I don't remember the details.)

Subsequently, Cruz ignored Trump's advice; and again, Cruz illustrates poor planning and judgement..

Sooo now, Trump is taking advantage of this open issue.

Thank you, Jane.

How did Ted get to the Ivy Leagues? Scholarships by the truck load, I presume?

Parents divorce, but no marriage papers? Geez, maybe it’s late. I will sleep on this.

Trump is conscientiously trying to save the USA from a third and crippling presidential administration of a foreign national as POTUS, a foreign national with no allegiance to the USA. Cruz support for TPA and North American Union, along with dozens of other of his usually sneaky parliamentary maneuvers in the Senate, are just a few examples. His records are sealed. He entered the USA illegally. His father, as Obama's father, was a communist (except Ted's father traveled freely circa 1960, in very tumultuous times, between Texas and Cuba, raising money in Texas to take back to Castro. it's a mess.)

Once again, as on every other issue, Trump is selflessly trying to SAVE the USA. Trump recognizes the Globalist tyranny we face under globalists like Cruz and others after him in their effort to rob us of our sovereignty, our borders, and place us on the same level as the third world.

The knowledge that I and other freepers have already developed on Rafael the Elder and his family is enough for a book as it stands right now. It's a sketchy mess of people ignoring U.S. law with the clear and apparent assistance of U.S. government authorities. The dysfunctional home life of the Cruzs of Ted's childhood is another story altogether that only reinforces that mystery---alcoholism, desertion and abandonment of family by the father, while making back and forth trips raising money in Texas and sneaking it back to Castro---at a time when without doubt travel between the two countries would have been under the highest scrutiny.

Our current foreign born president doesn't even use his real name. Our potential president Cruz also does not use his real name. The similarities between Cruz and Obama are many and weighty. Where are their birth records? Sealed. Where are their college records? Sealed. Who paid for Obama to go to Ivy League undergraduate and graduate school? Who paid for Cruz to go to Ivy League undergraduate and graduate school?

Folks, these are two Manchurian candidates foisted off on us by the Globalists and propelled by Globalist operatives in the Washington Elite.

And there's so much more to come out.

Cruz and Kasich need to leave the race so Trump can focus on Hillary.

You really seem to fully approve of Cruz lying about anything and everything. Honesty must not be any virtue to you. If he lies now he will deceive us later as well. No different than Obama or Hillary.
