Bathroom Wars’ Goal: Humiliate the American Normal Majority
Breitbart.com ^ | 23 Apr 2016 | John Hayward

Welcome to life in totalitarian America, where even going to the bathroom and identifying the sex of an adult have now become intensely political acts.

Totalitarianism is about the politicization of everything, and once people’s careers can be destroyed by the New Bathroom Order if they publicly object to the once-bizarre idea of men in the ladies’ room–we’re there. Ask the now-unemployed Curt Schilling.

Totalitarianism is about using force to gain political goals. You can’t get more coercive than forcing the vast majority of people to endorse the utterly bizarre just to accommodate the allegedly hurt feelings of an almost undetectably small percentage of the population. So for the sake of each transgendered person’s hurt feelings, two thousand ordinary folk must be forced to ignore what their eyes and hearts tell them … and be publicly slandered as quasi-racist bigots if they murmur any objection.

Moreover, Americans have already solved the problem: They just politely ignore the fact that public bathrooms are quietly used by transsexuals–both those who look like the other sex and those who really don’t look like the other sex. That decent-minded, live-and-let-live compromise means Americans don’t have to pretend that men are women, and they can call the police if they feel threatened, for example, when a transsexual wants to use a changing room in a school.

But the progressives’ hostility to Americans’ civic compromises was always an element of the gay marriage crusade, as well. It was clear that the amount of coercive force unleashed upon society to make gay marriage work was far, far greater than the coercion necessary to allow civil unions to quietly operate alongside normal marriage.

>He also said it would be discriminatory to build bathrooms to accommodate them. What’s that all about?

“Discriminatory towards businesses owners.”

I don’t agree, but here it is if you’d like to listen:

You know, there’s a big move to, uh, create new bathrooms. Problem with that is...for transgender...that would be a ... First of all I think that would be discriminatory in a certain way. It would be unbelievably expensive for businesses and for the country. Leave it the way it is.

A national divorce would solve most of these problems.

Just another "in your face" insult to Americans from this evil administration. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Not just the administration. I have only been involved in two such discussions. I have asked why Democrats and other liberals have such a bathroom fetish. Both times in ended the conversation.

We can start asking the same question to Target executives, the NBA and anyone else who can't stop talking about it.

The Democrats are the Bathroom Monitor Party.

Their goal is to normalize ... when people discuss ideas it gives those ideas credibility.

Our side needs to ‘get even’ - - spend massive amounts of time discussing mandatory death penalties for anyone over the age of 21 who molests a child under the age of 12. By being tossed off a building. We’re not advocating anything THAT extreme, but we should ‘talk’ about all options.

That’s what they do... starting the conversation is half the win.

Really - and make discussions extreme - a person who molest a child - once convicted - - must by law be put to death within 60 days. That should get them to sit up and take notice....

Or a ten thousand dollar fine for any man NOT transgender who goes into a women’s bathroom.

Liberals know if a discussion’s started they’ve won half the battle. Copy their technique.

We don’t have to agree, because we have the same challenge either way. If I’m right, then we need to win the electorate over to Conservative values. If you’re right, then we still need to win over enough of the electorate to our side to counter the fraud.

They are not even happy with having their own private bathroom - they want to invade everybody’s bathroom.

“They are not even happy with having their own private bathroom - they want to invade everybody’s bathroom.”

Put the high heel . . . uhmm . . . shoe on your foot and try it on for size. Imagine you are a Christian living in a predominantly Muslim populated nation, the Muslims are gruesomely raping and/or murdering Christians they discover, and the Muslims insist Christians cannot use the public restrooms being used by Muslims and may only use a rarely found individual restroom set aside for use by Christians only. Now, can you imagine why you would be reluctant to use the individual restroom set aside for Christians, and you would want to use the same restrooms used by the rest of that society?

IF I owned a business or any commercial buildings-—I would put up Porta Potties which are single seat use units. I would have them serviced every day. I would end this nonsense. My building plumbing would be temporarily out of service.

I would make a permanent solution:

I would take the multi stall / multi sink bathrooms & remodel them into supply rooms. Then I would remodel the supply CLOSET into a single toilet/single small sink/single small mirror bathroom with only one person able to use it at a time.

You can keep the unwanted genders from annoying anyone in the bathrooms.

I knew who wrote those words as soon as I read the first line. Saw him once in concert in Seattle. In between songs he asked the audience for a cigarette, a hundred cigs were thrown up on stage for him, he picked one up lit it and started talking to us.

The fire Marshall was not pleased and cut the power to the stage and turned on all the lights.

Some have a theory about guns. 100 million more guns have been sold to Americans under this current anti gun regime, why are "they" allowing this?

So when "they" find the moment to collapse the government, "they" will go underground, the gun owners fight it out and kill each other off for a few years and then when half the population or more has been purged, "they" will emerge into their utopia, with 100+ million gun owners dead.

Did you hear what Gates said about Obamas military changes? From day one, the issue Obama was the most animated about and asked repeatedly what is taking so long was getting homosexuals into the military openly and purging any General, Captain if they disagreed.

The left’s intent is that there will be nowhere to go. You will obey. Or be destroyed.

Don't want to be destroyed, don't want to see my country destroyed by unbelief and immoral behavior. I am a Christian with a ministry to teach the mystery in the Pauline epistles.

American does not want it, we have been reaching out for decades, churches are more interested in the basket and endorsing aberant behavior for the numbers, for the money?

Seriously thinking of going to another nation to preach. Moving there, retiring there most likely central America, the people are simple, happy and God centered.

Really? Costa Rica, Panama, where almost everyone speaks english due to the locks and the military base that was there for decades? That is not what expats are saying about these two countrys.

I live in Oregon, it has the distinction of the state with the most unbelief in the nation. The county where Portland is located has issued a decree (these are unelected bureaucrats) that any boy or girl 15 years and older who feels like the opposite sex may be given hormone treatment by the nurse at school, without the parents permission, get it? without the parents permission!!!

Did you read the article? It is a spot on description of how we are now living, in a totalitarian nightmare. It is designed to control our every thought. Confusion is but a symptom, as peaceful dissent gives way first to disbelief, anger, threats of retaliation, then quiet acceptance. What you speak of is the “shotgun approach” to overwhelming the ability to organize and push back against change. The PTB don’t care and don’t worry that you are overwhelmed, events are proceeding at their natural speed. Adjust to the changes, or be left behind you hateful, bigoted SOB.

Truth.

Many Americans live in Central America, some have for their entire lives...especially in Panama.

I have many friends living there. As with any country, there will be crime.

This is truly and OUTSTANDING opinion piece, and follow the links buried within for historical views from as long ago as 11 years.

This article makes it clear what totalitarianism looks and feels like. We are not on the road to it, we are smack dab right in the middle.

Paul said that “…3For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; 4for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil. 5Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.…”Romans 13-3-5

The governments are assigned to be moral police, especially against those who won’t listen to the gentler moral teachings of the church!
