Trump clarifies Transgender remarks on Hannity
April 21, 2016

Posted on 04/21/2016 7:42:35 PM PDT by NKP_Vet

The link is not up yet, but a few minutes ago Trump was interviewed by Sean Hannity who asked him to clarify his remarks about the NC transgender law. Trump basically said NC is feeling the pinch of a boycott and that's too bad. Hannity asked him how he thought the issue should be settled. Trump said it was a local issue and the Federal courts should never get involved. That's all he said about it. Hannity didn't ask him did he personally think drag queens should be allowed in whatever bathroom they want to use. But I did hear a spokesman for Trump say today in the Matt Lauer interview he was referring to someone who has went to court and had their sex changed on legal documents, as in after they have a sex change. I would suspect Trump will clarify what he meant in the NBC interview in a statement. When the Hannity interview is available I'll post it.

You are right

I agree

When I saw the topic come up on Hannity I turned to my wife and said I be he clarifies

She said...he damn well better

And he did

I think he was unaware of the original Charlotte ordinance that prompted all this and his original remarks in that context did not make that connection

He looked tired too

And yes someone coached him.....that’s pretty common..I doubt it was Hannity but Sean does lead kindly with folks he likes such as Trump

70 mile an hour straight pitch right over the plate

For the record I do not agree with Trumps every utterance

It’s Cartel Cruz who should be “clarifying” his own remarks derived from magical thinking in that bubble of his.

Cruz never addressed either the question TRUMP was asked, or his actual answer, but recreated both the question and the answer.

I mean, it’s hilarious and voters are listening. They see Cruz’ lips moving and out comes fairy tales versions of bubble talk.

Lyin’ Ted is becoming an embarrassment, lost in his now clinically proportioned recreations of events, both present and past, and manufacturing events of the future. There a couple of diagnosis for that. One of them is.........

D E S P E R A T I O N

Agreed!

Sounds a lot like Obama...
Says one thing... then goes out and explains the “ meaning of what he said”
He said what he meant and now trying to get out of it! Shame

Yeah, Trump was on his favorite mouthpiece! Hannity is always good for helping Trump cover up what he really believes so you zombies will continue to follow him!

Nope. I’m a father who is outraged that a politician would use dead babies and little girls as political weapons to attack his political opponent with. As Cruz would say: We’re better than that.

This is a real issue. We have trans and gays and lesbians coming to our church and other churches in the area causing trouble. So what if Cruz has his girls at the rallies. I seen trump with his younger son.

You can’t see the Forrest through the trees.

Trump is pandering every time he flip flops. Depends on what states he in. The liberal east is proabortion and pro transgender for raising taxes. That’s why he said all those things.

I think it’s great he brings his girls instead of leaving the family at home.

That’s so wonderful. We conservatives are now reduced to sticking our finger in the wind and seeing which demographic supports and opposes something. Guess Trump supporters have no principles.

So you support the Federal Bureau of Potties?

They will have a 25,000 trained force of full time Potty Pecker Police officers who will monitor the public bathrooms.

This is what Cruz supporters want, another government agency with many employees, lifetime benefits and operations costs into the billions and will live on forever.

There would probably be more potty police than transgenders...the incidence in the population is .l or .2% You are more likely to get hit by a meteor than run into a transvestite in the bathroom.

The USA is sinking, yet Cruz and his gang are worried about which bathrooms people are using deck of the titanic :(

The point is, we need laws to protect our girls. I want someone in office who worries about our kids, not someone who is ok with it. I thought trump was a fighter. Why doesn’t he fight to stop this lunacy? Instead he caved. We’ve had spineless wimps for years. A real man fights evil and doesn’t care if it’s popular. I had a low opinion of trump before, now if I said what I think of him.....

Not at all.

He can be against NC passing a strong law against it, but acknowledge that it is a State's issue.

Not at all, since it is a non-issue.

What would St Cruz do about it as President?

I am aghast at the comments on this thread belittling the whole insane issue of men using women’s bathrooms. The core Trump supporters sure don’t seem in the least conservative to me. This is supposed to be a conservative site, right?

Because we disagree with his position on that issue doesn't mean it is going to change our support for him since it has nothing to do with being President.

You think St. Cruz is going to bring in a religious revival?
