I thought parents were suppose to take care of their little girls. I am embarrassed by the nanny state bed wetters. I would not send any of my children into a public bathroom alone 30 years ago.
I have been reading this stuff all day and now all evening. Any parent who sends children into public restrooms alone without checking them first is not a decent parent.
Why on earth would a presidential candidate get involved in fighting something that should be left up to the companies involved, and the cities and states that they are located in?
If you as a parent can’t or won’t protect your girls, laws are not going to do it for you. Unless, of course, if you would like to live in a communist country.
This country is going down the tubes rapidly. We have to worry about immigration, the economy, trade, ISIS. Perhaps Ted would rather worry about bathrooms first but the rest of us have more important things to worry about.
nobody is going after “our girls” don’t you get it?.. it’s a made up nothing,, there are almost no instances of any transgender ever bothering anybody in a restroom.. they do their thing and leave like anybody else should do.. if by chance anything else happened they would be arrested like a male bothering a boy in a men’s room.. but it never happens.. this is just another phony made up issue
you want a real issue?.. stop asap the millions of illegals coming into this country that will end up destroying our country,, put your effort into that .. the bathroom issue is STUPID to waste the precious time you have on earth worrying about

Speak about North Carolina bathroom law in particular,"His first answer was that NC shouldn't have passed such a law because things are fine the way they are and requiring new bathrooms would be expensive and discriminatory.
Hours later, he says it's a states' rights issue.
"NC shouldn't do that" is the opposite of "NC should do whatever it wants."
I'd agree with you if he had said, "I oppose NC's position on the law, but it is their legal right to take that position." But he didn't say that.
No one is belittling anything, it just has nothing to do with anyone being President!

BTW, I like The Five more when one of them is off and they have a guest. Kind of throws the whole show off a bit, and I like that.

How many bills did Cruz sponsor to get rid of perverts using female lockers and bathrooms? I don’t seem to recall any.

I will give all the Cruzers that point. Cruz is definitely more conservative than Trump on social issues, but as a candidate becomes more conservative on social issues, his elect-ability goes down.
This trend increases as time goes on.
Mayberry is gone and Sheriff Taylor and Barney are dead.
Trump on the other hand, in my opinion is far more conservative on national security, jobs, borders and the economy and has more experience in life than a freshman Harvard Lawyer.
Cruz may be a flash in the pan, no one knows. He hasn’t been in the game very long outside of the Bush nest.
Trump only said that there should be nothing changed in who uses a bathroom, a dressing room and a shower. If you are crossed dressed, you don’t go into the men’s room dressed up as a woman. Men will direct you to the women’s room. If you say you’re a man, other men don’t like men posing as women no matter how kinky it appears. If you go into the women’s room, make sure you do not reveal your private parts. If you do, expect a 911 call reporting you as an exhibitionist. Then, you will be arrested, convicted and be listed as a sex offender. You don’t want that on your record if you are looking for a job. So if one wants to be a drag queen, make sure you don’t give away your sexual identity.
The best solution is for a cross-dresser, also called Autogynephilia, to get psychological counseling.
Then he would have said that Men should use the Men's room and women should use the women's room. Instead he said that people should be allowed to choose the restroom they want.
Then he said on Hannity that this should be left to the local governments and the States, right after he criticized North Carolina for overturning a City Ordinance from Charlotte that required businesses to allow men into women's toilet facilities if that is what they wanted to do.
Trump is a hypocrite of the first order.

Yes, he did criticize NC. He said they created problems and strife and should’ve left it the way it was because there were so few problems.
