Being a die hard Classic Rock and Old Country guy I didn't get him when he first came out, had some young black soldiers that loved him.

I saw Purple Rain and not only liked his music but was blown away by Morris Day.

Led Zep, Cream, Frank Zappa, Hank and Hank JR, Waylon, Prince, and Morris Day... go figure.

Yep, Morris Day and the Time was the best thing that came out from Prince, LOL.

I’m listening to “Wild and Loose” right now.

The musical performances in that film are so great. Morris Day (and his valet Jerome) make you want to get up and dance.

Diversity was taught to me by music. It was to me a way that we were all equal and no one judged by color. Like you it is hard to believe I go from Pink Floyd, Old Rap, to Prince and even Wagner. Music is a way to transcend, Race and back grounds..
