RIP Prince. He was very talented and a visionary artist.
Sad. RIP. I knew he had been sick, but not that sick.......................
So, now he really IS the artist formerly known as Prince. Sorry, never cared for his music. May he rest in peace.

I saw Purple Rain and not only liked his music but was blown away by Morris Day.

I bought his first album without ever hearing it after I read an article in “Modern Recording” about him, and his ability to record, engineer, and play all the instruments on the album. I have been a fan ever since. He was 1 year older than me.

He was only 57, too. Way too young. That's going to be my next one and life for me now feels like it's just getting started.
I enjoyed Purple Rain and liked a lot of his music, even when overplayed Prince tunes was standard fare on FM radio back then.
And now, yet another from the soundtrack of my youth has gone silent.
May he, and they all, rest well in peace.
