Kasich hasn't won a single state outside his native OH

FWIW, I don't know anyone who voted for Kasich. Those who line their pockets because of useless or even counterproductive construction projects and the elite Republican "in crowd" probably did. I'd sure like to know if any Freepers know of a corner of the state where folks like him.

Trump haters are twisting themselves into knots arguing Trump can’t even though he’s won like half the states and is on track to win more.

By their yardstick, that’s losing. It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.

“The latest polls show that only one Republican candidate has a sure chance of beating Hillary Clinton: John Kasich. “

Right. Which is why the NYT and it’s kommie sister papers and kommie sycophant follower papers all endorsed Kasich several months ago: because they all wanted the guy who had the “best” chance of beating Hillary.

This is nonsense. Kasich can't even get real traction in the primary; how is he supposed to do better in the general election that either of the two leading primary candidates?

The bottom line is that "Generic Republican" or "Generic Democrat" does better in the polls than any actual Republican or Democrat, because the former has none of the real-world baggage of the latter. Kasich has been so barely-visible that he polls like a "Generic Republican".

After this election, the GOP is a dead letter.

The GOP Establishment knows that Hillary will play ball on the open-borders cheap-labor issues and Trump won’t. Ergo, they prefer to have her win.

Ronald McDonald the Clown Radosh should check out the latest poll that shows Trump doing better against Hillary than Cruz or Kay-Sick.

One of the bummers of this political season is that the ostensibly conservative media has given up reasoned political analysis in favor of angry polemic trashing Cruz or Trump, depending on where their sympathies lie. It’s gotten really boring and caused me to just tune out.

An NBC-WSJ poll is as credible as a ouija board.

When Radosh quotes it, he loses all credibility.

And in the real world, Republican voters do not want John Kasich as their nominee.

But he believes he knows what’s best for them.

The stupidity of the smartest people in the room has to be seen to be believed.

“The Wall Street Journal Editorial pages trashed Trump for 122 consecutive days, with 10 guest editorials by Karl Rove.”

I just loved watching Rove having to admit the night of the NY Primary that Trump was indeed the presumptive nominee. He looked like he’d just hoovered a meadow muffin!

“I’m shocked 4% were stupid enough to support another open-borders Bush.”

Heck, I’m sure there’s always at least 4% that would support a ham sandwich, so probably nothing to be terribly shocked about.

The latest polls show that only one Republican candidate has a sure chance of beating Hillary Clinton: John Kasich. Look at the latest RCP average of all polls, which shows the tally of each Republican candidate in a race against Hillary Clinton. Kasich comes in nearly eight points ahead of Clinton.
Plus, Kasich is the ONLY candidate to have memorized EVERY episode of the old "Kung Fu" television show!

Everyone knows, the only time head to head polls are accurate are when there are only two heads.

Exactly - I’m sure they have other things they can count on from Hillary.

Of course they’re stomping their feet demanding she be indicted - not. We all know what they are.

Kasuck is Hillary without the pantsuit.

If the GOP was really concerned about winning they would be getting behind the guy drawing in the millions of new voters they said they wanted.

They don’t care about winning, what they care about is preventing the citizens from stopping The Cheap Labor Express.

But you have to admit, a ham sandwich would still be far better than Jeb Bush.

I seem to remember the exact same statements being made before Obama won twice. “Stupid Polls” “Liberal Media”. I’m so very afraid that we’re going to seee the same results in a few months and I just don’t know how we stop it from happening.

Yup

Go back to this site in 2012 and the same things were being said about Romney vs Obama are eerily similar to today. But this time will be different we are told

I can’t or won’t predict what will happen in Nov except to predict it will come down to a handful of states. Just vote. That’s all you can do

I caught Rush Limbaugh’s show yesterday. A caller said despite the polls he believes Trump is going to win in a landslide. Rush was more guarded because he made the same prediction in 2012 and he made the same prediction in 2000 and admitted both didn’t turn out the way he thought
