This was the part of the Cruz plan that didn’t make sense to me.

If Trump did come up 100 delegates shy, wouldn’t be a heck of a lot easier for him to get that hundred, than for ted to get 300-400?

I cannot see Rubio as qualified. Maybe he is but I rather not go there.

Rubio is, his own admission lazy. I don’t think he’d work well with Trump

And so it comes to this: Cruzer’s secret army of delegate mooks, after basically ruining Cruz’s career in his acquisition of them, aren’t even reliably going to support him.

lmao here...... remembering a #nevertrump frenzied post a few weeks past likening the GOP and Cruz to a chess game and Trump as the pigeon who lands on their board, knocks over their pieces and shits on their game. the poster thought he was dissing Trump.... lol.....

Anchor baby Rubio is as ineligible as the Cubanadian.

Watch after the next primaries if Trump wins big again;
you may see Lindsey Graham now wearing his hair just like The Donald. The week after that, you’ll see the ‘great’ Glenn Beck sporting a similar new coif, but in a bright platinum.

I hope Rubio and Trump both oppose the idea. Trump even walked it back, just saying he liked the GOPers as people.

Hopefully these delegates are just wannabes, wanting to make a pundit or political career out of it by hyping the Rubio link.If you become the 1237th delegate for Trump you get a CNN show(I mean by using the publicity about what a great political wonk you are) or you get on the celebrity apprentice. NBC should probably get some of the NeverTrump people to be on celebrity Apprentice as consolation.

NeverTrump was never a threat, it's just a null reality. There's nothing to collapse and there's not a hope of gain from it it's just the inevitable schism that Trump accelerated: the dead end of popular conservatism and nothin left to lose.

Education has been ruled by the socialists for over a hundred years. It's actually surprising it took this long.

“This is Donald Trump. I know you’re a Rubio delegate, but I’d like to talk to you about your concerns. Why don’t I have a jet pick you up and fly you down to Mar Lago so we can talk about it. Bring your clubs, we’ll talk on the course.”

The perfect job for Rubio—ambassador to artificial intelligence entities.

If they don’t emerge in the next few years Rubio can do nothing—and at least cause no harm.

If they emerge he can fight to make them citizens. ;-)

Just another sign the GOP is collapsing under its own weight. I’m still looking for a viable “new” Conservative party to raise from the ashes to neutralize or diminish both the Democrat and Republican parties. As I said back during the hey days of the tea party activism, it has to start in congressional races and by tea party conservatives already in congress dropping their GOP party alligience and signing on to this new party. They might not have a majority for a long time, but one or both existing parties would have to gain their support to get anywhere, thus having considerable leverage.

I think Rubio is a very good speaker-articulate and intelligent. He’s young, qualified and energetic. He would soften the edges and be a compliment to Trump, which is what you need for a VP. Trump/Rubio great ticket!

Trump/Rubio ticket would do very wll, IMHO!!! The good news is, that the trio of lunatics, haters, ranters & ravers, Ted Cruz, His Father & Glenn Beck are fastly on their way to the cesspool world of forever obscurity!!! Go Donald J. Trump!!!
