Is There Not Cause to Fight for Conservatism?
Conservative Review ^ | 04/20/16 | David Serenda

History is the most effective teacher we will have in our lives, because it gives us the answers to life's situations. This is especially true with war stories, as they tell of great courage in the face of even greater despair. Allow me to take you back in time to when a fierce battle was talking place between the armies of the Philistines and armies of Israel.

As we study the history of this battle, we find both armies atop separate mountains with a great valley separating them. As Goliath, the leader of the Palestinian army, mocks the nation of Israel, they fear his great size and run and hide. Today we find a similar battle between liberalism and conservatism. Each army (the political campaign) is on their mountain (agenda) with a great valley (the place of battle) between us, and just like in this story, the liberals are the aggressors, mocking our nations founding and Judeo Christian values.

For 40 days, Goliath (liberalism) came out and challenged the armies (political campaigns) of Israel (conservatism) to battle, going as far as to say, “This day I defy the armies of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other.” As the armies heard these words, they feared the giant and fled and hid themselves. From King Saul to the lowest ranking member of the army, they were dismayed and fearful.

“Nope, continually disproven in a court of law.”

Nonsense. It was litigated by practically pro se plaintiffs in commonwealth (county) courts that hear such things as boundary lines disputes, divorces and dog-bite cases.
Having read the Pennsylvania Order, it appeared the judge knew less about Article 2, section 1 than the average non-Cruzlim freeper.

However “Ted” himself, when running for the senate (not long before ‘shooting the moon’ for the White House, like his doppelganger Obama) was asked about the `Natural Born Citizen clause in relation to Obama.

His response was that a natural born citizen had to have two US citizens and had to have been born on US soil. He wasn’t as big a special pleader then as his fan bois and grrls are here on FR now. Now Cruz’s records are locked up as tightly as the records of another foreign usurper.

“Rosebud, the Convention, Rosebud, the Convention”

You guys are so badly gulled by this snake-in-human-form that you are determined to drag this to Cleveland with your ineligible hero.
Then your GOP-e pals can—surprise, surprise!—nominate one of its loosers so that he can lose to Clinton and maintain that cozy status quo ante.

That won’t happen because Trump will continue beating Cruz like a dirty rug—New York: Zero (0) Cruz delegates, though we’re sure he and his pards Preibus & Co. are hatching schemes now to try and inveigle some of them—but don’t worry ...

You can pursue your megalomaniacal Cruzade with your Canadian Mounted Tail Patrolman; the rest of us and Donald Trump will save you and the country from Obama, Part II.

“The victor and hero did not come from within the army (political class), he came from outside the political experts.”

I’m not impressed with the analogy.

Why did God choose David, the youngest son of Jesse? Because he was not strong, couldn’t wear the armor, and trusted GOD. He didn’t know military strategy, didn’t make deals, wasn’t a scholar, although he probably did know the law of God because it was his families TRADITION, and he thought about what he learned about God all the time.

He knew that it was God who gave him the aim to kill the lion and the bear which attacked his sheep. It wasn’t because he knew what bears do or because he could overpower the lion. He knew it wasn’t building up the military that would save Israel.

He knew God had already won the battle. God went before David into battle.

The United States is in a spiritual war and her people need to get on their knees (including the politicians) and honor God by outlawing all the abominations that are now legal. Otherwise, all is moot.

“However, the LORD did not turn from the fierceness of His great wrath with which His anger burned against Judah [David’s kingdom], because of all the provocations with which Manasseh [David’s 13th great grandson] had provoked Him. And the LORD said, “I will remove Judah also from My sight, as I have removed Israel. And I will cast off Jerusalem, this city which I have chosen, and the temple (house) of which I said, ‘My name shall be there.’”

“Surely at the command (mouth) of the LORD it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; AND THE LORD WOULD NOT FORGIVE.” (All caps mine) 2 Kings 23:26 & 27 and 24:3 & 4

By the way, the wrath of God against Judah was fulfilled by the invasion and conquest of a Babylonian. Invasion. Build a wall or stop the flow of innocent blood that flows out of every town in either smoke or sewage or sanitation trucks. The first will not hold back the wrath and the second only postpones the inevitable.

Thanks, God bless you too, and I hope you come around to seeing this matter in a different light, because Cruz is intent on driving us down a dangerous road.

I don’t think an honorable man would choose the course he is choosing.

Cruz is the one making deals with the GOP-e (such as hiring Neil Bush), while Trump has told the GOP-e in no uncertain terms to go pound sand.

It is true that liberals must be annihilated instead of compromised with, and Trump is the person most likely to annihilate liberals.

Dear MontanaJoe,

What you are seeing is the extreme frustration on the part of many conservatives who, for years, faithfully voted, walked precincts, donated, made phone calls, and more, to elect candidates that claimed to be conservative, only to have them unabashedly cave in to the Left.

We know Trump is not a rock-ribbed Conservative, but he is the only candidate with the strength to tell the truth lately about the state of our country, and the only one who recognizes the disaster that both parties have created.

The future is going to get much worse, not better, and the "same old same old" won't cut it.

Reagan united the three legged stroll of Conservatism e.g. fiscal responsibility, religious liberty and overwhelming military superiority.

... While Trump has been busy dividing, alienating and destroying the people whose support and votes he would need to have even a decent showing in the general election, not even talking about the damage to down-ballot/down-ticket races who can't win the ir races hitching their wagon to Trump's half-baked, unserious 'ideas' and incoherent mesh of Ron Paul-ish and liberal economic and foreign policy 'philosophies' — just like he's been doing in his failed businesses, with the same kind of 'hyperbole and bravado' sales pitch (what does his brand stand to lose, anyway?)...

This election is globalism (Cruz/uniparty) vrs nationalism (Trump) happily the right (us) have chosen nationalism. The left (Hillary) are on the side of globalism so the battle is yet to be won. But I am hopeful that Trump will dispatch Hillary come Nov.

I don’t think either Trumpers or Cruzers can claim the high ground when it comes to some of the rhetoric.

And I say that as a Cruzer who is just as guilty but is trying to mend my ways ;)

Only one "David" that has a stone in his sling. Believe it or not - a vote for Trump is even better than a vote for pure conservatism at this time - it will shake up the establishment so much to discover that a true outsider can get on the ticket that they will be more likely to start acting more conservative instead of just talking it before they twist the knife -again and again and again....

Got to win the occasional battle before you can win the war...

Lie? Are you so blind with your devotion to not realize that Levin actually came out as #NeverTrump? In case you didn’t research, this group has said that they would vote for Hillary over Trump. If you’re for Hillary, perhaps you should carry your self over to DU.

Shows how ignorant you are. Freedom of speech laws protect the government from prosecuting you. FRee Republic is a private entity and can do what it wants in this area. Besides isn’t it okay for a private entity to have its own rules? Just like the Colorado delegate selection event. I bet that you were all for that.
