“IMHO, it wasn’t New York values... it started with Chicago where he blamed Trump for the protests, and got much worse when he said Trump should fire Corey L.”

You nailed it. At least, those are the places where he lost me (actually, Chicago was more than enough).

I had hoped Trump might make New York state competitive, but it is not to be.

You're wrong about that. Trump gets huge numbers of Independents and crossover Dems - especially blue collar Dems - who could not vote in the closed GOP primary. (They would have had to change party registration a year ago - before Trump entered the race.)

Trump will blow out New York in the general.

Trump won every county but one in the state.

Hillary won the urban centers but lost upstate NY to Sanders.

“With 93% of the vote in at 12:15 a.m ET, Trump was in the lead at 60% while Ohio Gov. John Kasich was at 25.2% and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz was at 14.8%.”

“Kasich is Trumps secret partner. He stays in to take votes from Ted... And then teams with Trump to have a solid ticket.”

I certainly hope so.

The only reason Kasich won the Upper East Side is that all the NYC RINOs or GOPe live there. They are the local version of the national and DC GOP establishment. They have even been pushing Kasich, since they hate Trump and know that everyone else hates Cruz. A cowardly, ignorant, greedy, selfish, unpatriotic vote, and those are its good points.

Shocked female reporter enters Cruz's trailor to find him dressed as Mr. Penguin!

"He was messed up after his devastating loss. After winning voterless delegates, which turned out to all be from Antarctica and were actually penguins, he was upset with getting a big fat zero in New York..."

Per the account of this female reporter, Cruz started making squawking sounds, there was blood dripping from his mouth and he was arched over what looked like a huge egg and then screeched, "YES! I am a PENGUIN! And so is my wife!"

The reporter asked Cruz to respond to Kasich's call that he drop out of the race so that Republicans could unite behind Kasich since he's the only one who can beat Hillary Clinton in the general election because Kasich got 3 delegates in NY and Cruz got a big fat zero. "Kasich says you cannot defeat Hillary in the general if you cannot even get one delegate in New York, so you should now drop out. What is your response?"

"I don't care if I layed an egg in New York! Even if they break my beak, I got little penguins and they are my voterless delegates. They will peck Kasich's eyeballs out! Just keep the air conditioner on in Cleveland and bring a lot of anchovy treats and let's see who's dropping out!"

Cruz then screeched again, "My nose is my beak!"... The reporter didn't know what that meant, but she felt threatened and left the trailor.

Trump will never win NYC.

But he did get blowout margins in the swing collar counties around NYC and upstate.

That makes him competitive in November.

From your keyboard to God’s ears, I pray that will be case in November.

I can’t help but be discouraged and remember the primary of 2000, GWB received over a million votes, and still got crushed by AL in the General.

We have to continue the fight and not give up.

What we’re looking at tonight is a bunch of Democrats who didn’t know who to vote for. They couldn’t figure out who they dislike more, and you can’t blame them.

In November, they may actually LIKE somebody. The closed primaries here, and the long wait time after registering in a party, and the general ignorance about the rules and deadlines, have kept them from switching over to Trump easily.

It will be interesting to note what the tallies are on those affidavit ballots by people who were ineligible. They were told “Do not leave the polls without voting!” Exclamation point. They think they voted, that’s the sad part. Usually we get outrage and disappointment, but this time they think they actually voted by filling out an affidavit ballot when they were ineligible.

As someone posted on Facebook: “You can vote for Trump. Don’t let them tell you you can’t. Get a paper ballot and vote.” She even posted a photo of the ballot with his name on it. Of course that was for Republicans but she obviously thought it was actually voting.

I don’t pay attention to any predictions about November. I have observed just among my friends and acquaintances several who switched over in the last week or so, after the Colorado fiasco.

Colorado showed how commissars chose leaders.

New York showed how voters chose leaders.
