The Trumpenoids brook no complimentary threads about other candidates.

Suburb of Baltimordor. It’s big enough.

Wow...that crowd is almost the size of all the people that voted for Cruz in Colorado and Wyoming combined!

As Elaine said, it’s Towson, not Baltimore...trying to distance herself.

Towson is a large size town if its own, but is basically contiguous with the City, as are many “towns” perched on its border. Drive from the city through Towson and you will not notice any difference.

Towson is the home of Black & Decker, now subsidiary of Stanley.

Towson is also the home of Towson University, whose most famous alumnus is Mike Rowe of the cable tv show Dirty Jobs.

I think there was also some national debating contest won by their debate team (it went viral in certain circles, hint hint).

It’s a large suburb of Baltimore.

Why isn’t Cruz going to the Conservative parts of Maryland?

Towson is the county seat of Baltimore County, the county that surrounds Baltimore City (but they are two distinct entities). It is due north of Baltimore city a few miles; so no, it’s not a DC suburb, but an incorporated town. There are two universites and a huge regional shopping mall and several smaller shopping areas there, and lots of leafy streets with older homes, churches, cute restaurants, a big courthouse and county administration buildings, etc. It’s about 25 minutes north of Baltimore’s downtown and an hour or more north of DC’s downtown, when traffic is moving.

I disagree. It's getting worse, but it's still a lot nicer than the city by far.

I have to say, joining with PJBankcard and TontoKowalski and in respect for JimRob’s patient requests for civility, I am disappointed to see Trump supporters messing up another candidate’s rally thread. It’s rude and disruptive; and puts the Trump rally threads in jeopardy again. Please respect other freepers’ rallies.

In his book “The Art of the Deal” Trump spoke of playing to people’s expectations. He talked about how the possible buyers thought one of his projects was much farther along and they were all excited to buy. He knew that it wasn’t as far along as they thought it was - but he sold it to them on THEIR expectations. Not on what the actual reality was.

The Trump supporters view him as this great right wing conservative that will build a wall, kick out the illegals, and make America great again. If he is the nominee I will vote for him and hope that it is true. But I won’t be full of hope. But - he will be better than Hillary.

***************************

Trump, Wall Street Journal, Sept. 30, 1999:

“I am considering a run only because I am convinced the major parties have lost their way. The Republicans are captives of their right wing. The Democrats are captives of their left wing. I don’t hear anyone speaking for the working men and women in the center.”

At the time he was contemplating running as an Independent.

Well, up to that point I only commented on the Israeli aspect neither mentioning Cruz or Trump. Afterward though ... should have read your post before returning a snipe with a snipe. Though mines has some humor in it.
