Ted Cruz boasted Monday morning that he has won 'landslides' in the last five states to award Republican convention delegates, even though only one of those states held a popular-vote election.
'There have been a total of five states that have voted in the last three weeks,' he claimed during a town hall event on 'Good Morning America.'
'In those states, starting with Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming, 1.3 million people voted in those states. And he lost all five. We have won five in a row, and Donald's upset so he's throwing a fit.'
Cruz reiterated moments later that in 'five states in a row, we've won landslides over and over and over again.'

He’s disgusting...no wonder his family won’t live with him.
That is funny, but you are dating yourself, sir!
You can good intuition then :) I too just get the sleazy snake oil salesman feeling from him. Or one of those preachers who try and swindle everyone out of their money and promises salvation.
Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizen, Cuban-Canadian, Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.
Cruz "character":
1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.
2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"
3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.
4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP. But he is excellent speaker.
5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.
6. Uses Trump's wife in advertising "vote for Cruz" and then screams that Trump hates women, while he "loves them" - keeping few extra mistresses.
Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?
IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN
(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

Five in a row, only in a world when you decide Arizona was somehow before Utah, and somehow less significant. Only in a lawyer's world.
He learned it from his dad didn’t he?
Tennis is a far cry from voting for a candidate who will determine the future of our country, and the quality of life for millions of citizens...I take our election process a bit more seriously than that.
It’s a cartoon, FPS.
Meant to poke fun, mixed with some Truth.
Which I take VERY seriously, in supporting the candidate that takes the issues seriously, rather than whine nonsense about "voterless elections" where the active rank-and-file get off their duffs and do vote, and constantly dribble out the "lyin-ted" krap.
The issues that SHOULD be discussed are way off the sidelines - 20T debt, Iran deal, ZeroCare, the Constitution, ....
Are you suggesting what occurred in Colorado was not tailor made for those motivated to manipulate elections?
Are you suggesting what occurred in Colorados caucus/delegate system a few days ago was principled, above board, legitimate and honorable?
“4. “Brilliant” lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.”
Oh, but he did—and does—know he’s not NBC.
Someone here (Ediesomething?) posted last night a Cruz interview done when he was running for senator.
Cruz was asked for his definition of `Natural Born Citizen’ and he replied, “Born of two American parents, on US soil.”
Of course the subject was Obama, not him.
So he knows he’s been flying under the radar.
When I die, they will fell me, saw me in half and count my rings.
Treebeard/tumblindice
It’s not a lie, I had a bunch of freepers bashing me out when I said it.
I hear ya, and I do get where you’re coming from. But the points you made in your last sentence are the very reason that I’m supporting Trump. I know the people that hate Trump never listen to his speeches, but literally every rally I hear him talk about our 19 trillion in debt, how awful the Iran deal was, and replacing Obamacare.
He also mentions preserving our 2nd amendment.
Now I know he hasn’t always been the voice of conservatism, but in my opinion our country needs someone who isn’t married to a political party, but is simply fighting for the American ideals and not selling our businesses to the highest bidder.
Well I can believe he’s saying it, its spin... Spin is just marketing.. the problem is Cruz is BAD at it. Most politicians are BAD at it.... but he looks even worse because he is juxtaposed against Trump, who is, at the spin and marketing level, light years above Cruz.
When you have 2 people offering “spin” and both are relatively BAD at it, no one notices, when you have 1 that is a natural at it, and another who clearly isn’t the one who isn’t looks that much more aweful.
Cruz sold his soul to win WI, its not surprising his national poll numbers dropped and Trumps went up after it.... Before that, they both seemed to be leveled, Trump was always in a certain range, and Cruz was always in a certain range.... then WI.... And the undeniable fact Cruz got in bed wholey with the GOPe for that win, put a Bush on his team, etc etc etc.... then his numbers dropped outside that level range they had been maintaining, and Trumps went up out of the range he’d been maintaining, not surprisingly by about the same amount that Cruz’s went down...
Now, Cruz has nowhere to go... no one will believe him when he says he can and will take on the establishment... so those backers have moved to Trump... Where is Cruz going to get more support? He’s already got the GOPe in his corner, and while it helped him win a battle in WI, its harmed him the greater war.... Where’s he going to go? After Kasich? I doubt those voting for him are likely going to move to Cruz, short of Kasich pulling out and endorcing him, and even then I’d bet Trump would gain a few more points and get over 50% nationally should that happen.
Its going to be even harder after tomorrow if he comes in third in NY, which is a very real possibility, and even harder after the 26th once he’s eliminated from reaching 1237 in the first vote, and Trump will have scored almost certainly a clean sweep of victories, and Cruz will likely get a few third place finishes as well. The perception that Cruz stole any momentum with WI will be gone, and Trump will once again be viewed as a winner and nothing breeds success like winning... so Cruz will have a hard time just holding on to the voters he’s gotten, let alone increase his portion going forward.
He’s got 3 states he should win left.. MT, SD and NE... the Cruz backers are hopeful that because he won WI that he can show an upset in IN, but I would not bet on that at all... Just because its Geographically close to WI doesn’t make IN WI... IN does not have a battle tested and proven machine that can mobilize for Cruz like there was in WI... So I really doubt you will see Cruz win IN.... and that’s really it...
Procedural actions and what not, regardless of how within the rules they may be, are not going to get you out of the problem that you got beat and beat by badly among voters across the nation.. showed only consistent strength in low population caucus states, that any Republican would win in the General, and wound up a full 1/3 lower in the delegate count and likely 5 million or more lower in the vote totals.
In his world the local party activists are the grass roots.
If you believe the average citizen is the grass roots, then you are just wrong.
If you add all the home runs I have hit with Barry Bonds’ I have hit more home runs than anyone else.
