Cruz claims he's won 'landslides over and over' – even though only one of them held an election

Ted Cruz boasted Monday morning that he has won 'landslides' in the last five states to award Republican convention delegates, even though only one of those states held a popular-vote election.

'There have been a total of five states that have voted in the last three weeks,' he claimed during a town hall event on 'Good Morning America.'

'In those states, starting with Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming, 1.3 million people voted in those states. And he lost all five. We have won five in a row, and Donald's upset so he's throwing a fit.'

Cruz reiterated moments later that in 'five states in a row, we've won landslides over and over and over again.'

....”In the FR caucus polls, the ratio of Trump supporters to Cruz supporters is around 3:1, last I heard. We ARE the majority”....

Well yes, why wouldn’t it be after so many Cruz supporters were bashed here til they left Fr or have resorted to just lurking because it’s been so vile and nasty here....why would they vote??? And some are simply choosing to not vote because it couldn’t be accurate to begin with.

Cruz looks smaller and weaker by the day. The more I listen to him the less I like him. Doing his “victory dance” and bragging because millions of people in Colorado were disenfranchised the right to vote is stupid, obnoxious, and only fits in a Communist dictatorship. Fighter for the Constitution? Fighter for the people? What a joke.

He’s temporary tool of the GOPe and is interested in schmoozing and twisting the votes of the delegates, more than winning the hearts and votes of the people. People are seeing through his shenanigans and he’s dropping in the polls like a rock - as he should.

TRUMP 2016

It's been stunning watching Cruz position himself in this race without media nor Breitbart, nor Hannity and others.

I'd place the present web location into the category of "others".

CONFIRMED! Ted Cruz Will Drop Out Of Presidential Race?!?!

Ted Cruz

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) had an impressive victory over conservative businessman Donald J. Trump in last night’s Wisconsin GOP presidential primary. And for the first time since mid-2015, he has been tied in some national polling.

However, even with the addition of delegates from WI, it’s still mathematically impossible for Cruz to secure the the nomination before a brokered RNC convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

There are only 769 delegates remaining, and the next contest is on Trump’s home turf: New York. New York, with a large population has 95 delegates, which is winner-take-all if one candidate gets 50% plus 1 vote.

If Trump wins New York, he will lead with 853 delegates, and Cruz will not be able to make it to 1,237.

Why is that? Because Cruz would NEED 732 delegates, and there will only be 674 obtainable before the convention!

That’s why New York is far more important than Wisconsin, which is why so much focus will now shift toward New York.

As the Gateway Pundit notes, there’s every reason to believe Cruz will really drop out on or before April 26:

Actually, in only 3 weeks, on April 26th, it will be clear that Ted Cruz cannot win.

This is in part because New York is leaning heavily towards Trump who leads according to polls listed at Real Clear Politics by as much as 36%. New York has a Republican primary where the delegates are split proportionally. So even if Cruz wins a third of the delegates, it won’t be enough. This is because come April 26th, there are five Republican Presidential primaries and three of these are winner take all (WTA). All three of these states are in the East where polls show Trump leading (Maryland and Pennsylvania) or there is no polling available with the state highly likely leaning towards Trump (Delaware).

Even if Cruz wins a third of the delegates in Rhode Island or Connecticut or any of these states, it will not be enough to keep him mathematically in the race.

That’s why it can be comfortably predicted that if Trump has to deal with a contested convention, it won’t be against Ted Cruz. Instead, it will be a candidate the establishment supports – perhaps someone who isn’t even on the ballot yet!

But there is no question, Ted Cruz is on his way out. The clock starts now.

What’s the real issue?... when you get to the bottom line Trump lost,.. he didn’t compete...no show candidate. It’s that simple....in other words he refused to play by the rules believing that the delegates would just naturally kiss his ring like his supporters.....he found out differently.

Do you get paid to write this factually challenged, nonsensical drivel?

It's called the Loonie for a reason.

That lyin’ wanker Cruz hasn’t one anywhere near a landslide anywhere.

He also is not going to be the nominee.

His actual “campaign” was a loser with the voters.

Terribly ran and executed.

Actually Cruz is upping his brand to anyone except Trumps followers, who wouldn't be able to tell the difference in the first place or they wouldn't be voting for Trump.

Like Reagan had to, he's going to the press and media who want to have him heard now because of the ground game going directly to the people...which is what Reagan did.

Cruz was recently given and spoke with a CNBC Panel for an hour which displayed his Economic Brilliance, Clarity, and Specificity on his Economic Plans/ Jobs etc both here and it's affects Internationally on the GDP.etc.....as well as his tax plans and other economic issues people want "answers" to..and explanations of. People were impressed with his handle on economic affairs. Trump still talking about his wall and making America Great again....just how he's going to make that happen is still more a mmystery then not since ever course he's said he'll take has been debunked as not happening nor can it.

The only people who have the right to complain about Colorado are the people of Colorado and I don’t hear them complaining. Other than the sore loser Trumpsters that is

http://www.9news.com/news/politics/trump-backers-plan-protest-of-colorado-vote/135569456

DENVER (AP) - Supporters of Donald Trump are demanding Colorado’s Republican party reverse the results of caucuses that ended poorly for their candidate.

More than 100 Trump backers outside the state capitol decry the Colorado GOP’s process that rewarded 34 delegates to Ted Cruz last week. The convoluted procedure left many Trump backers feeling shut out. It also highlighted the billionaire’s difficulty playing the inside game needed to win the 1237 delegates that would clinch the GOP presidential nomination.

The crowd chanted “stop the steal,” claiming the republican establishment is working to steal the race from Trump.

Organizers of the rally demanded the state GOP party hold another straw poll and change the way delegates are bound. They said if the state party doesn’t hold a vote, they would demand the rules committee at the national convention unbind all Colorado delegates.

Attendees at the rally say they did not protest the cancelation of the straw poll until now because they didn’t understand the impact it would have.

“Nobody even knew what it meant, I didn’t even know what it meant,” said Jim Sutter, a Trump supporter who wanted to be a delegate at the national convention.

Colorado’s presidential elections began March 1 with statewide caucuses. But the GOP canceled a poll that would have shown which candidate won. Instead, caucuses sent people to county and state conventions sometimes not knowing how they’d vote.

Cruz swept the state convention. Trump backers demand those results be nullified and a straw poll held.

I doubt that. besides you are contradicting yourself. you say Cruz supporters have left AND they’re not voting here because people are mean to them? So which is it?

A bunch left because they were mad because the site owner didn’t come out bashing Trump. It really was that ridiculous. He said Cruz was his first choice back then, and that wasn’t good enough for them. So they had a temper tantrum and left, LOL!

There is nothing Cruz could do that you and your buddies would approve of other than drop out so your guy can coast on in with no effort. You try the same tactics here that Trump does. Lie and scream and demean and slander, puff up and try to intimidate, and yell the loudest. That does not make any of you right. It just makes you the loudest. And you have no clue what he would do as President because to tell you the truth he doesn’t know either. It will depend on what day it is. Cruz has promised to do what he says he will. Trump is slippery and will not be held accountable for anything. Any miscue will be someone else’s fault.

If it is what the people of Colorado agreed to then yes. You’re only saying this because Trump fell down on the job. Which he will do every day if he is elected. And you will be spending 4 yrs making excuses. Hope you have the energy.
