Ted Cruz boasted Monday morning that he has won 'landslides' in the last five states to award Republican convention delegates, even though only one of those states held a popular-vote election.
'There have been a total of five states that have voted in the last three weeks,' he claimed during a town hall event on 'Good Morning America.'
'In those states, starting with Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming, 1.3 million people voted in those states. And he lost all five. We have won five in a row, and Donald's upset so he's throwing a fit.'
Cruz reiterated moments later that in 'five states in a row, we've won landslides over and over and over again.'

Utah, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado and Wyoming, 1.3 million people voted in those states...
A prime example of how to lie with statistics.
The Wisconsin primary accounted for 1.1 million of those votes. Take that out and you get:
“Utah, North Dakota, Colorado and Wyoming, 200,000 people voted in those states...”
That’s 200 thousand people spread across 4 states. I’m guessing the majority of the 200K were from the Utah caucus.
Oh, I believe you. Sorry if you misinterpreted my post; it was meant for Cruz.
Ted's landslide.
He sure can frame his campaign any way he wants and by his words we will know him. His bragging is a pathetic bleat...Look at me...Look at me...I couldn’t win fair & square but my buddies can sew it up for me. That makes me the real deal.
Lyin’ Ted is telling us a sow’s ear is a silk purse. Its a National disgrace that the voters in the caucus states and in Colorado, Wyoming, and the handful of States Cruz is using for bragging rights, have not been allowed to register their votes and be heard. If the GOPe keeps playing an end run around the voters they will be the newest edition of the Whig party. Ted has made it abundantly clear that he cares not one iota about the American voters, their jobs and their saftey.
“Cruz won the April 5 Wisconsin primary decisively with the help of Gov. Scott Walker and other establishment allies. That single state’s voting tally accounted for more than 82.5 per cent of the 1.3 million votes Cruz cited.
Another 13.6 per cent came from Utah, where the state Republican party opted to hold caucuses instead of a secret-ballot primary election. The rest were spread across North Dakota, Colorado and Wyoming, which awarded him delegates on the basis of party-insider conventions in which his campaign aides worked behind the scenes to win support for their hand-picked slates.
Wyoming held no primary vote. A total of 475 party activists convened in Casper to hold a state convention and appoint Cruz loyalists to represent them at the Republican National Convention in July.”

According to the Politico presidential tracker, Wyoming’s “voting” included around 950 total people.
Years ago in college I had a teacher explain this, and he had a name for them: sneaky f**kers (although he used deers for his example).
The sneaky f**ker hangs around on the periphery. While two alpha deer fight over a female, the SF sneaks in unseen and has sex with the female deer.
It is an effective reproductive strategy. He doesn’t face the risk of being injured in combat; he can spread his seed among multiple does; and the cuckold deer will raise and defend the SF’s offspring.
I had forgotten this till you mentioned Cruz. Cruz fits the SF profile.
I can't stand listening to either of them.
Lyin Cruz lies like Lyin Obama
Trump = 774, Cruz = 559
Trump is dominating in NY tomorrow, so NY = 95, gives him 869 to Cruz 559.
A week from tomorrow there are 118 up for grabs. With Ted running third, a very minimal estimation would be 90 for trump and 28 for Kasich - (Trump = 955)
That leaves about 72 delegates. I'm pretty sure that he can get those from whats left with no problem. NJ will give him 51 alone.
For, surely, even Ted Cruz knows this really pisses voters off and he's not going to win squat from here on out.
The smarmiest pussy to ever seek the office in our history.
When men look at him they want to p!ss on his shoes.
I sincerely thank you for your civil response.
For the short term, I need to act on my conscience and campaign for the conservative cause, as I see it.
I hope to join with you after Cleveland, as long as one of the current “top two” wins, which I fully expect.
To consider the rationale for delegate numbers with Cruz on top on arrival in Cleveland, see the link in reply #80.
There’s actually not as many of them as there are Cruz supporters - they just sit around all day waiting to pounce on each and every non-Cruz post.
Join the Trump Family rally threads - anyone disrespectful gets asked to leave and you are among like-minded folks.
They played a snippet of each candidate campaigning this morning on the radio. The one they chose for Cruz was him in PreacherMode where he was saying “Gddddd bless Wyoming!” Ugh. Really? The Almighty wanted Wyoming to vote Cruz??? That is so arrogant.
Excellent post!
He probably thinks the chicks who give him bj’s in closets are LUCKY.
It’s not only women, Kit. I know a man who said he was creepy from day one, when I still liked Cruz and planned to vote for him. I somehow just didn’t see it. I thought he was who he apparently thinks he is, and kind of felt sorry for his weird gay preacher voice and “different” facial look.
