Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders Revealing Our Elections Rigged: “The Illusions of Choice”…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Sundance

(Nick Bernabe via ANTIMEDIA) Denver, CO — The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, it’s becoming clear the U.S. election — and even more so, the presidential race — is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.

Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.

The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

http://www.syracuse.com/politics/index.ssf/2016/03/how_new_yorks_new_gop_delegate_rules_could_help_derail_donald_trump.html

It seems that after Trump announced in June, The Party got together and had a chat. Then a few changes were made. Now, I follow politics more than many, and I never heard a whisper of this in NY. Not even from our local party people - whom I receive copious emails from.

A snip:

” A change in how GOP delegates will be selected in New York’s presidential primary could aid party operatives trying to thwart the nomination of Donald Trump in a brokered Republican National Convention this summer in Cleveland.”

At a similar article I found the information that the changes were made in the summer.

“The new process rewards longtime party loyalists in the state – taking power away from the presidential candidates and their most fervent supporters in the April 19 primary.”

you have completely lost it.
You keep spouting the same B/S talking points from Rove and co.

There ia a frigging difference between letting the voters have a right to vote and having voters denied their right to vote.
How proud you must be to be part of the establishment and yet you was one of those who were against the establishment a few months ago and praising cruz for being anti-establishment.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

What’s the point of voting if they are just going to ignore the vote anyway? Like in Florida.

And people did actually vote in Colorado. You do realize that right? It was a direct election for the delegates. How is that not a vote? At least in Colorado every candidate could win delegates. In Florida the candidate with less than 50% of the vote gets 100% of the delegates. That is not fair! Trump needs to release those delegates to vote like the people of the state voted. Trump has been the most helped by this rigged election and he should lead by example in releasing his unearned delegates! Let the voters voices be heard and not ignored!

From another article, and ever so true: “Only Mr. Trump has so far won support from the majority of delegates from eight states required to get on the convention ballot, under the rules all the candidates have campaigned under since last year.”

yea so insane voters lined up for hours to vote only to see their vote ignored by delegates who are paid off, bribed, and influenced.

Must make you feel so proud to see voters having their right to vote denied.

How does it feel to be part of the establishment to deny voters their right to vote, hope you get bribed very well for your effort and B/S

no only insane is measured by this.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Voting for yet another ivy league lawyer who became an elected official who has not even finished his first term is insanity,

You just might be a liberal idiot.

No need to be angry and immature. I'm just telling you the FACTS. The Republican and Democrat parties are not part of the Constitution and not prescribed by law - they have their own rules.

the establishment talking points by cruz are not working well seeing as Trump’s numbers are going up.

People have had enough.

These are my own talking points came up with based on the facts as I researched them.

True of False? Trump received 100% of the delegates in Florida.

True or False? More than 50% of the people in Florida voted for someone other than Trump.

True or False? First round voting 100% of the delegates from Florida will vote for a candidate that the majority of the state did not vote for?

True or False? People did vote in Colorado? Hint: True...they voted for their delegates.

So you think it’s fair to ignore a majority of the voters in Florida. And you want to ignore the direct election of delegates in Colorado. Sounds like you don’t trust the people’s vote.

What's odd about this is that Trump, who has the most votes, also has the most delegates. So what's he complaining about? And though Hillary has been schlonging Bernie to some extent, she actually has 2.4 million more popular votes than he does -- that's a bigger lead than Trump has over Cruz.

Right now, it looks as though the two candidates with the most popular votes are going to be getting the nominations of their respective parties.

I mean, at least Trump supporters have a legitimate fear that their guy may get screwed at the Convention. But Bernie is almost certainly going to lose, and he deserves to because he's gotten clobbered in the popular vote as well. It's like Bernie thinks that the greater willingness of his supporters to come out to rallies should trump actual votes cast. Horrors!

“Where in the Constitution does it say that Presidential candidates should be selected by a small group of oligarchs?”

The Constitution doesn’t tell us how to select our Presidential candidates, therefore, we are free to choose any method we like.

Actually that’s not the definition of insane.

https://www.bing.com/search?q=define%3a+insane&form=EDGNTC&qs=DA&cvid=f27ee789420748568e97c91102a41b37&pq=define%3A%20insane&elv=AF3Ma9xvm99F*VRl97io3kJzwHu1E6dVCj8fUiTFAQyB

ADJECTIVE

1.in a state of mind that prevents normal perception, behavior, or social interaction; seriously mentally ill:
“certifying patients as clinically insane” ·
[more]
synonyms: mentally ill · mentally disordered · of unsound mind ·
[more]

2. shocking; outrageous

Both of those sound like Trump.

I agree with you. My comment wasn’t directed at you but in support of your comment that they are private parties. If people don’t like it they can start their own party.

Which really is what needs to be done. The two party system is failing us. Trump isn’t the answer though.

Okay, genius - Where in the Constitution does it say that Presidential candidates should be selected by a small group of oligarchs? Are we “governed by the consent of the governed” or not?

There is nothing stopping you from starting your own party and putting your own candidates on the ballot on each state.

Nothing forces people to choose only among the two major parties.

There ia a frigging difference between letting the voters have a right to vote and having voters denied their right to vote.

You have no right to vote in a party's primary.

You don't.

Sorry.

We have had parties a lot longer than we have had primaries.
