I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.

My reply:

Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).

End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.

All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors he’s defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).

No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.

What’s democrat about any of the above?
What’s not conservative?
What’s not to like?

And I’ll add a few more:

Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.

Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!

Make America Great Again!

Those are all things he has stated as his positions. What are you talking about? You really must keep up with current events and get un-mired from the past.

Free trade is NOT a conservative value - FAIR trade is. There’s a world of difference between the two, and you ought to know better. Ted’s role in helping to push through ObamaTrade is absolutely unforgivable, and should be a non-negotiable deal breaker for any conservative voter.

The Corker bill that Ted co-sponsored, released billions of dollars frozen in U.S. banks, to Iran, which gives that islamonazi regime the funds it needs to pursue the development of nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missile technology.

Finally, stop calling Ted’s amendment to the Gang of Eight bill, a ‘poison pill’. That label is nothing more than a weak defense of a ploy to legalize the tens of millions of illegals residing here, without giving them full citizenship.

Everyone in favor of amnesty would have gladly voted for that, as any fool knows that the illegals would have quickly been granted full citizenship by the courts. Ted, of all people, knew that’s precisely what would have happened, had the measure been adopted as a compromise.

All of the above, and more, are Ted’s ‘conservative values’.

Psalm 52
1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.
4 Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.
5 God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
9 I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.

We should press for the most conservative person and result we can get at all times. "...who can win."
-William F Buckley

Trump is NOT the most conservative person running

Yes he is, considering Cruz can't win.

Maybe he changed. That would be the only explanation. It’s unlikely, but possible. The problem is, why would we risk that??? Why when we have someone whom HAS fought for our ideals and beliefs, all the way to the Supreme Court time and time again, and WON those fights.

Why risk Trump is a fraud when we have Cruz whom HAS a solid record?

I can't answer that.

I knew this needed wider distribution and its own thread the minute I saw it. 600+ posts, not quite as many as libbylu’s opus but close.

It’s really sad that you have to resort to childish behavour to get attention. What’s really, really sad is that they let people like you vote. Do you have one original thought in your tiny, underdeveloped head that can be written without crayons?

You're just making things up again and it just makes you look silly!

You DON'T listen to what Trump says, you DON'T read his plans, and all you do is post utter garbage and LIES!

Yet you are in thrall of Cruz, who is NOT a conservative of any stripe, his plans are NOT his, but rather old stuff and purloined lines from Trump, which he and what's left of his supporters claim he said first, but didn't.

Stop with the damned lies and wake up!

Did Reagan give up any principles when he made Bush his V.P.?

I don't recall GHW Bush ever telling Reagan what to do.

What’s the difference between free and fair trade? Those are totally subjective terms without clear definitions. “Fair” is a word that can be used to mean anything by anybody.

The Corker bill did not do anything of the kind. Obama was doing that regardless.

It was a poison pill. It was meant to show the Democrats would settle for nothing less than pure amnesty, which was not openly admitted to at the time. You’re wrong that anyone in favor of amnesty would’ve voted for it, because the Democrats opposed it.
