McDonald's is building an epic restaurant with all-you-can-eat fries

McDonald's is opening a restaurant in Missouri that's unlike any other McDonald's in the country.

The new 6,500-square-foot location in St. Joseph will offer all-you-can-eat french fries, customizable desserts, sandwiches, and burgers, as well as table service, The St. Joseph News-Press reports.

Once, for me. The line reminded me of being back in the mess hall, the help was about as friendly as the treatment Ralphy got in the Santa Claus line, and my burger was ice cold by the time some fatty un-assed a chair so I could sit down. Jeez, I can stay home and get that for free!

“The old model isn’t working anymore”

The old model would have worked fine... the “new” model of trying to make a burger and fries”healthy” and end up with poor tasting fast food, but making up for it by quadrupling the number of menu options...

That model isn’t working so well.

If they went back to great tasting burgers, fries and shakes and tell people who want vegan or healthy to go next door... That old model would work just fine.

MickyD's fries went downhill fast when they stopped using beef tallow, IMHO.

I'm glad someone else thinks that! I thought I was all alone, missing beef fat fries; the cottonseed/soy/???-oil fries now taste mostly like plastic!
