What you implied was that he was guilty in fact, and that the prosecuor was abusing discretion by not taking the case.

Furthermore: Either a crime happened or a crime didn’t happen. An apology is irrelevant to whether a crime happened.
If a woman is raped, she doesn’t say, “I wouldn’t have pressed charges if he had simply apologized.” Either she was raped or she wasn’t.
No one says the rape charges “...never would have gone that far if he had just apologized.”

This is another worthless comment. Besides the fact that in law when you are charged criminally you are PRESUMED INNOCENT what do you think it means when the prosecutor doesn’t even believe in his case enough to prosecute it and thus drops the charge? He is maybe innocent? I hope to hell you never have to go through what this poor guy went through and then after it is determined there is no case to be made people continue and slander you that you are not really innocent.
