Donald Trump and the Fox News host Megyn Kelly met at Trump Tower on Wednesday morning, a person with knowledge of the matter told CNNMoney.
The meeting was brokered by Fox News chairman Roger Ailes.
An NBC reporter spotted Kelly entering Trump Tower shortly before noon. Representatives for Trump and Fox News had no immediate comment.
The meeting raises the possibility of a Kelly-Trump interview sometime in the future.
Trump's intense dislike of Kelly -- who he has called unfair, overrated and even "crazy" -- has been one of the subplots of his run for president.
Trump has essentially said she started it by treating him unfairly during the first GOP debate of the season last August.
The candidate and the journalist did not speak for months afterward. In fact, he skipped the next Fox debate, in January, which she co-moderated.

Of course he will. I'm going to predict how this plays out... a slight revision of what I posted weeks ago.
First off, the interview will be announced about a week in advance. The upcoming "showdown" will dominate the news for a solid week. Little bits will be leaked to keep interest peaking.
She's going to do a "tough but fair" interview. Melania will be on hand. Maybe they'll hug. At some point, they'll laugh together over something or other.
Afterwards, Trump will let up on Kelly. Kelly will lay off Trump.
Millions of American women will see that Donald is a good man at heart, just a little rough around the edges.
Just like their husbands. But, oh see how a good woman can turn things around!
Take it up with Ivanka a Trump. She said it was sensationalized and for TV.

What Kelly wants is a one to one with Melania Trump, so she can do a hit job on her like Katie Couric did on Sarah Palin. She mentioned quite a while ago, to Mr. Trump that she would “love” to interview her. Trump said “we’ll see”.

Thought from other thread. She has a positive story regarding Trump and his relationship with women every night to atone for her past behavior.

Looks like Megyn has been forced to see the real world—a Trump world that may well see him in the White House. They will need access. Mend some fences and bury some hachets so that all will be good. Worth a try—make a deal with Trump—and you are right-—An interview of Trump by Megyn Kelly would be a great ratings getting—good for all. BUT< Megyn needs to cut back her “Dump Trump” Hour—and disinvite Beck (no loss really).
I don’t really know anyone who’s watching her anymore, anyway.
You might want to rewatch her first question of the first debate, and every single other nasty comment she makes daily about Trump.
