A billboard in St. Augustine, Florida, that criticizes Islam is causing international outrage.
The words 'Islam Bloody Islam' are written in a red, tattered font on a black background across the 14-foot high sign.
Written in in white below the red words the billboard reads: 'Doomed by its doctrine'.

'This is horrifying because this tells me that they want everyone in our whole city to read this,' she said.
A petition, started by a woman named Becky Williams, hopes to bring the sign down.
'We should always stand up for those in our community who are shown hatred and intolerance.
'We should be outraged that a billboard with this message could in any way represent our community as a whole.

A society that makes being civil the one rule that it will never call an exception to for any reason, ends up being one which won’t even keep its civility. It can’t; it gets manipulated.
Billboards are almost always on private property, and I doubt it’s going anywhere as long at the person who is paying the freight continues to do so.

I may be going out on a limb, but I’m guessing that Becky Williams wasn’t a varsity cheerleader.
“But Islam is a RELIGION!” And don’t we have religious freedom in this country?
Well, apparently not, if you are of any religion other than Muslim.
But the ugly underlying truth about Islam is that it is NOT a religion. It is a whole ideology, with doctrines steeped in death and slavery. To declare Islam a religion would lend credence to also declaring the belief in National Socialism as practiced in the Third Reich between 1933 and 1945 as a religion, or the practice of International Socialism in the Soviet Union from 1918 to 1991 as yet other forms of religion. Both had their very fervent adherents, zealous, even, and brought much death and destruction wherever they chose to extend and consolidate their power structure.
Islam is and shall always be antithetical to democracy everywhere, and certainly to any freedom of expression.
There is nothing in Islam remotely resembling either “The Golden Rule” or the Ten Commandments.
Until the vast reforms necessary to make Islam into some form of an ethical code have been undertaken and put into practice everywhere it claims to have acceptance, it should not be granted any recognition as a “religion”. It is a death cult with overtones of slavery and privilege for a chosen few, self selected by the simple expedient of domination over ever larger numbers by force and intimidation.
It’s time to pass a law against being offended. If you are offended that is just fine. If you tell me you are offended you are now inciting me to violence against your stupid face!
I would re-word the billboard sightly: “We are doomed by its doctrine”
Seriously! We’re becoming such a nation of wusses it’s mind boggling. It’s why there is so much opposition to Trump and everyone is “scared, frightened, and hurt” by mere words... All the time!
Make America Great Again.

Does that include rapists, mass murderers, serial killers and pedophiles too?

We will not have peace (as we define it ) until Islam is wiped off the face of the earth.
Better to stand up for America and Americans. Evil should be displayed in any and many ways to inform the public of its danger.
There is more outrage over someone saying something about the towelheads, than about what the towelheads actually do: murder, rape, slice necks, burn, destroy.
That is because Americans have been reduced to reflexively spouting Duck-Speak about “diversity” and “inclusion” in order to signal their glorious virtue.
Time to nuke half the country.
It doesn’t represent your community, sweetie. It represents whomever paid for it.
