I have seen him propose the one thing that none of the others had the guts to propose, build the wall with Mexico money and send the illegals back. Did you see the article today where the head of the IRS knows and can identify the illegals who have stolen soc. sec. numbers but refuses to go after them because ... (no legal authority)? The IRS says they can’t go after illegals who defraud the system and stick the taxpayers and ID theft victims with the bill. Congress could have stopped this decades ago but they haven’t.

Cruz certainly hasn’t done anything or even proposed anything except those “me too” isms, that his masters allow him to spout. And it really does not matter how conservative Cruz sounds. He is not controlled by the constitutional or conservative principles he spouts any more.

Trump has amassed 10 billion dollars. Wild bomb throwers never live long enough to even come near that sum. If he were as wild as you say, he would not have the business he has. I’ve seen the documentary they’ve done about Trump’s plane — no wild bomb thrower there. You should watch it. Then you might see that your enemedia induced idea of a wild bomb thrower could possibly be propaganda.

I know Trump is not a conservative, I’ve never even attempted to say he is. Trump is Trump. But none of the other candidates can even say that they are their own man. Not Cruz, not Kasich, they are all controlled, owned, and pocketed by cronies. These cronies have more hatred for conservatives, “we the people,” and our constitutional system than for their cash cow/meal ticket, the federal government. They will continue to force us the US citizen taxpayers to fund their wishes until you, I and every generation after us is permanently enslaved. They own Cruz. They own Kasich. How else would you explain Cruz turning himself inside out the way he has and please tell me, what can he possibly use to buy back his soul?

When people have to defend the primary system by saying we've never had a democracy and shouldn't have one, they're urinating in the wind

From the article: This “has never been a pure democracy” explained Levin.

I don't suppose the fact that his statement is correct would have any bearing on the subject. Some of the writings of our founders discuss this in detail.

Levin is a clown.

How many firefighters, police officers, first responders, and military personnel had their vote denied through the GOP-e shenanigans the idiot, Levin, is defending?

“I don’t suppose the fact that his statement is correct would have any bearing on the subject.”

Apparently, to some, it justifies making a mockery out of voting.

This is little more than a replay of the 1824 election, in which the elites thwarted the will of the voters and gave the Presidency to John Q Adams when Andrew Jackson had won the highest percentage of both the popular vote and electoral college. A dangerous game because Jackson was a truly violent man.

It is my understanding of that era that President Adams won the presidency according to the procedure outlined in the constitution. While President Jackson did not like the outcome, he never undertook or advocated any violent reaction. He was an interesting individual with a lifetime of public service. He was also correct about the danger of a national bank.

It has been, and continues to be, amazing to me what is happening during this chaotic Republican primary season. “Conservative” talk radio hosts and “conservative” politicians that I really liked and enjoyed listening to, have outed themselves as lesser gods.

Levin, more and more, is coming across as a crackpot, as is Glenn Beck, because they are making statements and assertions that make no sense, especially regarding Donald Trump. There is no evenhanded presentation of facts and context, just outrageous claims, and accusations. Ted and Heidi Cruz are in the same boat.

Do not these people know that their audience are people with the ability to reason, and can readily see bias and bigotry?

Levin, meet Beck. Beck, good news, you’re not the only one who has finally cracked the big one from all the stress.

I am not interested. I have listened to Levin a few times. I was not overtly impressed.

Well then, the fact that the King and the Nobility selected our representatives and told us who they would be means that we had a fine, Representative Democracy, when were were a colony of England just like we do now.

Unfortunately for the current GOPe, Washington DC, Globalist Apologist, Nobility, that's not the sort of Representative Democracy the Revolution and Constitution created to allow us to choose our own representatives rather than having the Nobles select them for us and the majority of the population is now wise to the lie that our "Betters" choosing for us is the same thing as choosing for ourselves.

Furthermore, you can stick Levin's BS and garbage, intended to calm the unwashed masses yet again, where the sun don't shine. Several generations of constant lies since Reagan have wiped away all the trust folks once had in such fine "media pundits" and put them on the same level as any other dimwit who tries to sell the "calm down, you just don't understand" lie the way you and others here do.

Funny how it's all about principles and perception when someone like Levin sells their book and all about protecting the Federal Nobility (both parties) when it's time to actually get anything done. You know, like how everything would be fine when Republicans controlled both Houses of Congress, until they did, at which time it became the same whining crap that Levin now accuses others of. "Oh, my, we can't stop Barry with just the Congress, we need the Presidency as well.

Well, the Republican go along to get along Congress can work with someone other than their own carefully groomed President or Democrat Bitch and we'll see which of the Republican Congress Critters are worth keeping. Those that aren't can go to the trash can without their Nobility benefits just like the pundits who have yammered for two decades about how we all have to be patient while millions lost their jobs and almost everything they had.

Now, go back and pass out Teddy Bears and Soccer Balls to the nice people coming across the border, I'm sure they're all anxious to listen to you, Levin, Rush, and all the other GOPe twits who have had their day.

"'This “has never been a pure democracy' explained Levin. 'We have a federalist system'..."

Maybe at the government level, but selection of candidates should be a democratic system. I don't believe that Federalism has ever been demanded at the primary level.

Thanks for your reply. I hope directing that screed at me helped relieve you obvious hostility. I am afraid, however, it will not change reality. If I thought it would, I could suggest a few other insults or names to direct my way. I doubt if any good purpose would be served so I will just wish you a good day.

Levins neoabolitiionist south bashing always bugged me but I honestly think the payoffs he takes from the GOPe and the Cruz camp are to bolster positions he genuinely holds

He has always been a Cruz supporter

Rush is all Cruz too but he attempts to act fair to Trump

He fails

You raise a good point. Yes I’ve heard of the electoral college. But A) What if you didn’t get the vote for the electors, but they were decided by a handful of party activists? B) What if the electors decided to vote on their volition and ignore the results of the presidential election?

What Colorado did is make the above situations a little more likely. The Republican Party should start acting like a mature political party, not doing their best imitiation of a banana republic.

You see, it’s the Constitoootional principle, one man-one not vote.

“It is my understanding of that era that President Adams won the presidency according to the procedure outlined in the constitution. While President Jackson did not like the outcome, he never undertook or advocated any violent reaction. “

Yeah, Old Hickory was a regular snowflake, just like in your imagination. Maybe you need to read more.

Henry Clay collaborated with John Q Adams to deny Jackson the Presidency. Calhoun undermined Jackson in the Nullification Crisis, which Jackson considered treason.

Andrew Jackson famously said that he had two regrets, not shooting Henry Clay and not hanging John Calhoun.

Jackson had been in anything from 13 to 103 duels in his lifetime. He had bullets lodged in his body. He had managed to kill one opponent. He wasn’t blowing smoke in his regrets. Clay and Calhoun were lucky.
