Colorado can do what it wants. However, people don’t have to like it. And I’m willing to bet that the good citizens of Colorado who didn’t get to vote are just tickled pink. So, Cruzers are happy with any suppression of votes as long as it helps their boy, they ends justify the means. But, I understand, what is your boy polling in NY? 17%? Last caller just so everyone knows, he ate Rush;s lunch. That's why he asked him to "hang on thru the break" with over a minute left that he could have talked to him.!! He wouldn't. He knew the guy had caught his bias in favor of Cruz and there was no way out. So he probably hung up on the caller,IMHO.Rush played the gutless wonder there. Savage/Laura would have eaten the guys lunch.

Well, it is worse than you think. It was not the state that changed the rules of delegate selection. It was a private association of free people, known as the Colorado Republican Party, that changed their own rules. Their right to assemble and engage in political speech and actions is a pre-existing natural right that is protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution for all time. If there was no First Amendment, the right would still exist.

The changes were done with proper notice, and opportunity to be heard and a fair decision by those entrusted to make such decisions by the bylaws of the party. It is as American as apply pie. It is the way all delegates used to be selected before the primary craze started. It is really no different than the Iowa Caucuses. And nobody complained about Iowa.

This uproar is just sore loser BS.

Colorado does have a convoluted process. Other caucus states have the people choose their national delegates directly at the caucus. Colorado caucus goers chose local delegates to a county convention who choose county delegates to the state convention to choose national delegates.

We all understand a representative republic where the people choose someone to represent them at the federal level. However, in Colorado primaries the voter is 3 steps removed from their national delegates. That's a little too diluted for my taste.

Those party tentacles also reach deep into the states. Mississippi? Missouri? Delaware? Recall how the national party directed money and influence to those elections in the past.

That is also why I am so adamantly opposed to those pushing for an Article V. If they think for one moment that the national parties (Dem & GOP), lawyers, Liberals, lobbyists, etc., will not have influence in that, they are delusional. I would not trust ANY current politician at any level to go into a closed door meeting to make changes to The Constitution. That is especially true of Pubbies who cannot bend and fold fast enough to try to please any opposition.

Good caller just before the break. He raked Rush (and others — the constitutional lawyer? wonder who he was referring to?) over the coals for cheering at the Colorado caucus.

There were reports that some Trump/other delegates were turned away or refused entrance. Also, there were apparently some issues with names on the ballots.

Now, Rush is still defending Colorado.

Except they elected people who were supposed to take care of those details, leader who were supposed to be looking out for their best interests. Instead they got leaders who stabbed voters in the back then blamed same voters for not seeing it coming, from behind.
