The simple answer is that it is propaganda.
Rush has got more skeletons in the closet than you may realize. And on his radio show he can control the discussion so looks better at debate than he really is. This isn’t the case when you are dealing with the press, especially a hostile one.
Trump has managed to find a way to fight back which is unusual.
It is true in Pennsylvania. Something like 17 delegates are assigned by the primary, and 50 or so are unbound.

According to case law, any person born abroad (except diplomat's kids), if they are a citizen, they are a naturalized citizen. Rogers v. Bellei.
But according to on the ground reality, the law does not apply to presidential candidates or presidents.

Its is complicated compared to other states primaries. The voters vote for 56 delegates who claim they are for candidate X. They do not vote directly for a candidate.
