No way, I hate the player who is not even eligible to become the President of the United States. He may win the Republican candidacy but he will never win the general election. I will never vote for a slime ball usurper.

I call him King Trumpy because this nation is where Israel was in 1Samuel 8. We want a king. We've started down that road with Obammy. Now some on the right want to elect their own King. Hail King Trumpy! Hail King Trumpy!

I'm about as opposite of establishment as you can get. I'm just calling it like I see it... You have a good day though.

Ping......

I’m afraid the fix is in. Priebus caught saying to use the Diebolt machines to keep Trump under 50% in NY! Colorado is stolen from the people without any form of voting!

I have never thought I’d live to see the “leader of the free world” not free and not a leader! For years, I started by saying that we’re heading to be a banana republic and I downgraded that to “a tenth world country”. Now, we’re enslaved in the uniparty ranch, aka, the USSA.

Here we are. Instead of a garden variety dictatorship’s “election results” of 99.999%, it’s 100% in a state WITHOUT any public election! Soon, if the number required to win is 200%, they can get it by “changing the rules” and double the number of slaves...er...delegates!

In a dictatorship, there is public voting. The proverbial 99.9999% result is a forgone conclusion. Colorado beat that hands down.

Representative Republic? Constitutional Republic? Huh? Think again.

We the People....ARE SITTING ON OUR ASSES. The sooner we realize that, the better off we are. The very narrow window is closing fast. Actually, it’s a matter of months before we find ourselves officially in the modern dark ages of communism.

You call him “King Trumpy” because you are an arrogant ass. Quoting any part of the Bible in that is just puffery.

.....voters don’t have to follow the so-called GOPe rulebook. They'll decide whether the GOP candidate was legitimately and fairly chosen and balance their vote accordingly.....

Con artist Cruz sees a "rule" and connives to make it work only to HIS advantage.

Crux is exactly the type of candidate the Framers of the Constitution wanted the new Nation to guard against.

Cruz is fond of using the anti-vote numbers against Trump...but Cruz never applies the anti-vote to himself.

Cruz's math doesn't add up (pun intended).

If Trump won by staggering numbers....that means Cruz lost by staggering numbers. .........many many more rejected Cruz than they did Trump.

Does this look like Trump was rejected?

Trump.....8,256,309.... 37.0 1%....758 delegates

Cruz......6,319,244....28.33%.....533 (plus all he can steal)

Cruz keeps losing and losing....he should bow out gracefully and admit he lost.....and he should stop finagling the numbers.

Either way, Cruz is damaged beyond all repair. Only his Kool-aid drinkers will support him now.

No problem for untrusTED, corrupTED, unfitTED. His GOP Elite puppeteers will simply continue to rig it for him.

Trump is my #1 choice, Cruz is my next favorite.

That being said, I have no problem with any candidate exploiting any advantage the rules allow.

In this competition, each candidate has the ability to compete according to the rules to the best of their ability. Cruz is exploiting Trump’s political ignorance. Trump appears to be adapting. Hiring Paul Manafort was a good move and will eventually pay dividends. Manafort opening up a Trump DC office to start building bridges to the GOPe may be distasteful to the true believers, but it is rational realpolitik.

So what can Trump do in this situation? A few things, I think:

1. Win enough 1st ballot delegates to get over 1,237 and make Cruz’ maneuverings moot. That’s why Trump is likely going to spend lots of time in NY this week to win and win big.
2. Use the Credentialing Committee at the convention to not seat any delegation that may have engaged in fraudulent activity (e.g. CO, UT, OK, TX, ME, IA), just like Romney did to thwart Ron Paul.
3. Cut a deal with Kasich or Rubio for the VP slot, allowing that candidate to align their delegates with Trump. If that happens, Trump’s magic number drops below 1,100.
4. If Trump gets close to 1,237, Trump exercises his full billionaire’s ability to schmooze delegates (particularly the uncommitted delegates) to vote Trump on the first ballot, getting him to 1,237.

If Trump does some or all of these things, will the Cruz diehards complain about fairness? Some will, perhaps, but what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Trump really shouldn’t complain because he needs to expect this or much worse from the Democrats in the general campaign. He needs to get used the fact that Presidential politics is bloodsport.

When it’s all over, Ted Cruz should write a book, “The Art of the Delegates” and send Donald Trump a signed copy.

I hate to rain on your parade, but Cruz read the rulebook, and played by the rules, no matter how byzantine.
.....................................................

...yet somehow Teddy hasn't noticed what the ‘rulebook’ says about natural born citizens. How convenient.

The United States Constitution was written with the expectation that honest me would follow it. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been the case. Neither with liberals, nor with the GOPe and some that have fallen under its allure of power and control (or at least a guarantee of second-tier power placement).

Cruz’s best ability is to motivate people to vote against him and actually consider voting for ANYONE other than him.

LOL! So true. He is the embodiment of the old adage "Familiarity breeds contempt".

On August 25, 2015, Colorado Republicans canceled the presidential vote at 2016 caucus.

Whether or not one agrees with Colorado’s decision last year to cancel its traditional caucus is a completely separate issue. Cruz won fair and square by working within the process and rules that were established, his campaign spokeswoman noted.

No... I call him King Trumpy because he acts like a king. Because he wants to be a king. And because his followers worship him like a king. He says "if ford motor company builds a plant in mexico I'll just tax them at 35% on their imports".... and his worshipers think this is great. Hail King Trumpy. King Trumpy will levy taxes on whomever King Trumpy decides. King Trumpy is wise. King Trumpy is better than a constitution. Hail King Trumpy!

Maybe we'll take that "Trump Crest" and put it on all of the federal buildings in Washington. And maybe on the dollar bill. HAIL KING TRUMPY!!

This has destroyed the campaign and political career of Cruz (rhymes with LOSE)

You had better distribute your GOPe talking points before the voters mull over Cruz winning CO. without receiving any citizen votes.

Let's see how this goes over....it won't take long.
