“When it’s all over, Ted Cruz should write a book, “The Art of the Delegates” and send Donald Trump a signed copy.”

He will have to send it to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, Washington D.C., 20500.

No, apparently most did not. Otherwise, a vote for citizens’ input would have been held in Colorado. Don’t even try to claim it is the equivalent of the Electoral College.

In fact, some do not support him precisely BECAUSE we care what happens to our country.

Politics can certainly be grounded in opinions and facts that are relevant to one's cause. I don't question your core beliefs in this matter. However, when in the course of human events, one team gleefully sidesteps the will of the people, or even takes measures to obviate their voice, the people, who thought they had a chance to make a difference, can not be blamed for reticence.

Our voice, it is abundantly clear, is to be suppressed and made irrelevant. So, in November, you go to the polls and pull the levers for the GOPe candidates for President, Senator or Representative. Forty-seven percent of the electorate will vote Democratic, Thirty-seven percent of the electorate will vote Republican(e), while Twenty percent of the I-don't-give-a-crap-anymore, former GOP electorate really becomes the silent minority.

You're right. You win. :-)

Well GTFO is what Cruz is going to start hearing on a daily basis after April 26th. That is when he hits the mathematical wall. Once that happens and he goes on to lose all the NE primaries his campaign will be crumbling.

Voters don’t like to waste their vote. They like to vote for a winner.

Look for Trump to rightfully begin to call for Cruz to GTFO so the party can unify. Look for prominent talk show and party people to start suggesting the same.

“This is how Lincoln won. It is not cheating to secure delegates in case on a contested convention.”

Lincoln is dead. That was 150+ years ago. Completely irrelevant.

That article was written to set in place the electoral college.

IT HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the primaries. NOTHING.

BTW. If the people of the state of Co write in a candidate in the general election, and that candidate wins, what do you think happens to those electoral votes?

I will stay with Cruz until he is out of it, I will vote for Trump if he gets the nomination. I don’t think Cruz has blew it he is playing the game as it has been drawn up. Trump never had a inside game because he was getting a lot of free TV time and thought he would be able to save a lot of money and brag about it, which he does on his stump speeches. Now he will have to spend some money.

I’m the one he made the statement too. I just told him he was a moron... which is pretty much dead on target.

I just read your reply. You were right on target.

It is a “deputy” delegate. Means nothing because if he said, “Delegate” he would be outside of the law. Yet he is allowing this to go on which is really stretching the law.

The man and his organization are criminals.

Well, in Colorado, I guess they go up in smoke.

The point is, we are not a democracy and neither are the parties.

Shrewd as a serpent, yet innocent like a dove...Yep, sounds like what we are called to be. I don’t buy the “Lyin’ Ted” meme. I have never seen anything but integrity. I HAVE seen his motives being impugned by his critics, but that is simply someone’s opinion.

If King Trumpy [Cruz] were to do something wise..[ ] he might learn that it is REALLY difficult to p#$$ off EVERYONE in the party, and then get them to vote for you and to nominate you to be their candidate.

__

King Cruz has offended many people that won’t vote for him.

Totally different. Delegate is fraud. Elector is legal and honest.

Prior poster said the party is NGO private company, therefore legal. But if a private group declares slave ownership of others, well they cannot.

Gotta go work. Shockingly states can legally select their winner. But bounding is fraud. Changing votes is fraud.

In the end, Trump, Cruz and Kasich are all elegible but NO ONE ELSE. Jeb, Ryan are not, but will be. Govt gets to choose among the top 3 candidates. It is an awful system but legally, Govt would choose among maybe Hillary, Trump and Cruz.

Ya they created a real problem when they went that way.

I wonder why Tom Tancredo ran third party in that state for governor?

Could it be he had enough of the back stabbing from the click there?

On the priebus comment, that if they(party officials of NY) used the Diebold program they could keep Trump under 50%, the more I think about it this could not be a made up comment unless the person making the comment actually knew that New York State used Diebold as a provider. Not likely.

The odds on this being made up comment are extremely low,IMHO.
