Ted Cruz, the man who believes god wants him to be president

SENATOR Ted Cruz may be dubbed the most despised man in Washington but he is certain God wants him to be the next president of the US.

snip

What is disconcerting is the paradox that such a religious person as Cruz can attract such hatred. If you think hatred is a strong word this is what Cruz’s college room-mate says of him: “I would rather have anybody else be the president of the United States. Anyone. I would rather pick somebody from the phone book.”

In case the US did not get the message, Craig Mazin – now a scriptwriter – added: “Ted Cruz will become the thing you need him to be so that he wins an election. No principles, no moral centre, no values. Just ambition.”

snip

Ted GETTY, Trump's senior policy advisor said said Cruz was a Wall Street globalist

The dawning realisation that it could be Cruz prompted Trump’s most senior policy adviser to tell an audience in Wisconsin: “I’m going to tell each and every one of you the real truth about Ted Cruz. He is a radical Wall Street globalist who will rip the beating heart of manufacturing out of the United States of America.”

Strong stuff. Trump weighed in this way: “He’s a nasty guy. Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him.”

snip

When asked which politician they would like to run for president many people who have worked with him closely say anyone but Cruz.

One political strategist who worked with Cruz in George W Bush’s campaign office tweeted that: “If a truth serum was given to the staff of the 2000 Bush [campaign team] an enormous percentage would vote for Trump over Cruz.”

If God wants him to be president, he will be president. I happen to think God will put Hillary in that position, because I think America has been put under judgment starting with Hussein Obama.

Been saying he same thing about FL and yet there are still some in denial on here.

He has to win FL and has zero chance, as they are totally no enthusiasm for him here, but try telling that to the some on here who are not i9n this state. It’s like dealing with a cult.

Even on Free Republic.

“The MSM needs to stay out of religion.”

A lot of Americans believe a religious zealot needs to stay out of the White House

Nobody? I have thought you Trumpsters were. How far did you go back to find that comment? Of course Trump is immune to any of the quotes he ever made even those from just a couple months ago. Reagan said the same thing. guess Bush W will vote along with Laura for Hillery. He has more choices than Trump.

.Nobody likes Cruz. The six million people that voted for him must be hypnotized or something.

Craig Mazin – now a scriptwriter

Oh. I see. An impeccable source. A Jewish scriptwriter who got stuck with him as a freshman roommate at Harvard. Maybe an atheist Lefty, ya think? Who hates fundies, maybe? (This is someone of Jewish heritage speaking.)

You can see that Ted is ambitious, but without any principles? He’s been on this Constitutional gig since junior high. Are we supposed to believe it means nothing to him and he’s just itching to finally go RINO?

Interesting that you would mention “Jewish” because I did not even know that is a Jewish name and I don’t believe the article specified it...You use other terms “fundie?” what does Jewish “Heritage” mean? Do you have a problem with Jews?

As I said, I am surprised his roommate did not say, “Well Ted is this crazy Conservative guy always talking about the Constitution...”That is not what he said...He said Ted will be whatever he needs to be.

Interesting for Ted being a “fundie” (I am guessing you might mean fundamentalist Christian), he would be courting for money from middle-aged gay hoteliers who had 23-year old gay man die in their bathtub a couple months earlier...There are a number of activities of Ted’s that don’t necessarily line-up with “fundie” thinking...

I did not say he would go RINO...Don’t put words in my mouth...I am not sure what he would “Go” if he is not real...

I have some real questions about his character given his actions in this election.

If he is such a Constitutionalist, why does he support Global trade deals that diminish our sovereignty? Frankly, if he is such a Constitutionalist, I am not even sure he should be running given his birth situation.

‘You can see that Ted is ambitious, but without any principles?’

Soccer balls and teddy bears Cruz in his own words, on his own Twitter acct, supporting mass legalization:

9:37 AM - 19 Jun 2013

We need to secure the border. Any bill this body passes should have border security first & then legalization. Not the other way around.

As a teen Cruz toured with a few others from his high school reciting the Constitution from memory before audiences.

So the 'Cruz has no principles' charge has as much validity as the 'lyin' Ted' moniker.

Criticisms of him tend to be diametrically opposite of the truth.

Isn't that exactly what was said about Reagan?

God to America is physics to the Universe. Learn it, deal with it, and harm no innocent in the process if possible.

Allowing stupid filth like islam to run rampant is against the struggle for survival. . .

There is no escalator to goodness...

Yup. Not even remotely concerned about this.

Consider this: There are a very few people in this world; if you had the misfortune to be in a situation where you have to be close to them, who are so terrible that even after many years, the intense dislike, sometimes approaching something akin too fear, comes rushing back.

Of course, we all have known people we don’t like, and vice versa, but it is a mild sort of thing, soon forgotten, and even sometimes when we know the person better, turns into friendship.

But to react that violently after all those years, suggests something on a different level entirely; perfectly possessed perhaps?

I would ask who is Cruz’ god who has “annointed” him to be president. The god of this world perhaps? The father of lies?
