In other words, he did not sanction marriage between two men, a goat and a chicken. So the media is disappointed.

Pope Francis, unsurprisingly reaffirmed the Churches moral stance on marriage, homosexuality, promiscuity, etc.

He is a good Pope, a truly Godly man.

First truly Catholick act the man has taken. Her is a good Communist, not a good Pope.

No-—the globalist “pope” is undermining the 2000 history of the Catholic Church-—”softening” the “Truth”.

There is no way he can remain the pope and contradict the Catholic Canon without demonic subterfuge. He endorses being tolerant of ‘sin” which is anathema to the Catholic Church. Being tolerant of sinners is completely different than tolerating evil, vile, degrading acts that people do.

He is removing one brick at a time-—until he will be able to flip Good and Evil, like SCOTUS has done over the last 60 years-—normalizing killing babies and normalizing sodomizing each other—and teaching little children to take “Pride” in killing babies and in two males sodomizing each other—flipping 2000 years of Ethics back to the pagan, muslim, satanic, slave cultures.

Culture is toxic, now-—promoting vice 24/7-—opposite of our Constitutional “Justice” System which can ONLY promote “public virtue” since without Virtue in people, Freedom and civil society collapses.

Soon pedophilia (that “love of the homosexuals that DARE not be mentioned) will be “normalized” with irrational SCOTUS, too, since it is essential to habituate and groom the little children into “faiths/worldviews” of the demonic/satanists, who run the Vatican and the US now.

The NWO-—needs a One World Religion (vice makes slaves only)-—the Kumbaya religions are uniting, where Evil is Good and the State is GOD and Bible erased/changed to be meaningless. They need IRRATIONAL useful idiots, so they will believe the most bizarre evil things-—like killing babies and selling their body parts is “Good” or Jenner is a woman. The satanists want killing old people (over 60) “normal” and the Natural Family obsolete, too. They want to exterminate billions of people off their earth.

The pope just stated-—Man is to be RULED by his CONSCIENCE-—not the Word of God. That is pure Satanism. Satan controls the Heart/base emotions always. “Reason”, “Will” is what makes us “human” and in the image of God, and to remove Reason/Logic from the “heart” is to allow demonic behaviors, like Jeffrey Dahmer who was ruled by his “conscience” so he could literally rape and eat the little boys. By the pope’s irrational “Logic”, Dahmer was “Good” because he was following his conscience and we should “tolerate” such people.

Jeremiah 17:9: “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?”

The pope stated: ...that priests are to “...offer understanding, comfort and acceptance”-—he means to affirm SIN and EVIL, and not condemn it.

The pope is the most irrational pope (dumb or pure evil) we have had for a long time. God is Rational, always—so is Truth, and God hates sin, and His Word is Law, and he is a JUST God.

Yes, he said something to the effect that their job was to form their conscience, rather than just tell them something’s wrong.

Some of these journalist (using the term loosely) need to investigate what the Catholic idea of ‘forming’ a conscience is. It is, as you said guiding it towards the choices the church deems correct.

It isn’t ‘following whatever you think is right’.

“if it’s all about our conscience, why do we need the church anymore?”

To help you correctly form your conscience.

II. THE FORMATION OF CONSCIENCE

1783 Conscience must be informed and moral judgment enlightened. A well-formed conscience is upright and truthful. It formulates its judgments according to reason, in conformity with the true good willed by the wisdom of the Creator. The education of conscience is indispensable for human beings who are subjected to negative influences and tempted by sin to prefer their own judgment and to reject authoritative teachings.

1784 The education of the conscience is a lifelong task. From the earliest years, it awakens the child to the knowledge and practice of the interior law recognized by conscience. Prudent education teaches virtue; it prevents or cures fear, selfishness and pride, resentment arising from guilt, and feelings of complacency, born of human weakness and faults. The education of the conscience guarantees freedom and engenders peace of heart.

1785 In the formation of conscience the Word of God is the light for our path,54 we must assimilate it in faith and prayer and put it into practice. We must also examine our conscience before the Lord’s Cross. We are assisted by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, aided by the witness or advice of others and guided by the authoritative teaching of the Church.55

“Reformers? That was done like five hundred years ago, I thought.”

There are always reformers. And there always needs to be too.

“They didn’t reform the Catholic Church, I guess these guys are thinking that’s what’s going to happen.”

The REAL reformers most certainly did reform the Catholic Church: Pius V, Cardinal Bellarmine, St. Ignatius Loyola, St. Angela Merici, etc.
