Cruz's reception in New York was chilly.
Back in January, Ted Cruz made the mistake of assuming the rest of America still hates New York. His dismissal of "New York values" didn't endear him to the Empire State — Governor Cuomo demanded an apology from Cruz, and the New York Daily News did what the New York Daily News does best — and as expected, the comment came back to haunt him as he campaigned in the Bronx on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, at a massive rally in Long Island, Donald Trump, who's polling ahead of Cruz in New York by a wide margin, used the senator's remarks against him. "Do you remember during the debate when he started lecturing me on New York values like we're no good?" Trump asked the crowd. "Folks, I think you can forget about him."

Cruz hasn't compromised his positions hiring Neil Bush. Neil Bush is simply falling in line getting beside Cruz.

To say that Cruz was siding with the protestors is wrong. Cruz first and foremost blamed the protestors.
Yes, you really need to be from NY to understand anything about NY - plus you are confusing values with politcians. I am totally disgusted with the politics, yet I vote anyway eventhough my vote means nothing most of the time. I was offended by his comment because he lumped everyone in NY into one negative comment - he forgets those of us who fight the loosing battle here, but continue the fight anyway.
I'm from NY. I know exactly what Cruz was saying. It was Trump several years back, who lumped all NY'ers together and who defended his liberal positions by saying that he was from NY.
To Trump, abortion...etc, is NY values and that all NY'ers have them. You should be offended by that and not by what Cruz said.
Cruz's comment was a play on what Trump said.
Cruz had actually already pretty much written NY off anyway.... But I agree Cruz's move was brilliant to go into NY City... and accomplished the desired end.... Trump quickly cancelled three rallies in other states to make sure NY would be secure, Cruz was on his heels and wasn't about to let Crus influence "His People!.....lololol......thus Cruz has free delegate and voter reign in those states without Trump interference. Great move on Cruz's part.....

I heard Cruz with my own ears on the Chicago protests and couldn’t believe what I was hearing, so it’s not wrong.
I wouldn’t have hired Neil Bush - I would have just said no thanks because there are most definitely strings attached. And he would not go against the establishment while taking their support.
As far as endorsements, I agree he can’t control who endorses him - I just would not have them working for my campaign.

I guess by your assertion he bribed Ted Cruz, as all of his ‘bribes’ were legal campaign contributions. I guess that make Cruz guilty of accepting bribes.
