Liberal infested Austin and Houston have been on my "banned" list...(never go there unless it's a medical emergency) for about 15 years....but Dallas and San Antonio are still tolerable.
You are absolutely right. Texas needs to be very careful. I lived in Montana back in the 60s and 70s when it was a ruff and tumble hard drinking conservative state. Now it has been taken over by the rich leftist from CA. They call it Montanafornia like Texas will become.
“It happened in Colorado”... The liberal political equivalent of “slash and burn” farming. When the soil is ruined and can no longer support crops, the farmers move and do it all over again. Liberals ALWAYS foul their nest… then after ruining the economic/social environment (they don’t care about that environment) they seek another nest to foul. Build a wall and make Jerry Brown pay for it!
That’s why democrats say Texas will go blue in 3 presidential elections. Democrats already have a head start on electoral college. I think it’s possible republicans will end up being a small regional party eventually. Of course throwing Cruz down our throats when voters don’t want him won’t help.
