Stephen Miller was off the charts excellent. I guess what Cruz is doing must be working for Trump!

Let’s talk about this youtube video from Stephen Miller.

1) He says Ted Cruz prefers to talk about the National Enquirer story instead of the issues.

Not sure what he’s talking about. Cruz called the story “garbage” and refers to it only when asked in interviews.

So, he should direct his observations to those who ask him about it.

2) IMMIGRATION.

True — Ted Cruz in 2013 did introduce a bill to open U.S. borders for those entering into the United States through the proper LEGAL channels. He fought to allow more legal immigrants into the United States during the Senate’s most consequential immigration debate since George W. Bush’s presidency.

It is also true that he sought to both double the cap of legal immigration from 675,000 to 1.3 million and pushed for a dramatic increase of 500% for high-skilled H-1B visas to 325,000.

However, very recently, after giving it much thought, Ted Cruz issued an immigration plan that went even further right than even Jeff Sessions’ 2013 amendment.

The new plan would in part halt all legal immigration until the unemployment rate decreases. The new plan also would end birthright citizenship, suspend the H-1B visa program for 180 days to investigate alleged abuses and deny certain government aid to legal immigrants.

Here is his current immigration plan:

https://www.tedcruz.org/cruz-immigration-plan-summary/

Now an argument can be made that “I don’t believe him” because of what he said in the past....

If Trump folks want us all to forget his numerous changes and flip flops ( If you want me to list them, I will indulge you) telling us THIS TIME HE MEANS IT, why should we not give Ted Cruz the same consideration?

2) On Trade <-— It is a fair attack on Cruz. But people have disagreed on how to bring lost jobs back to the USA.

During the last debate, Ted Cruz exchanged sharp disagreements with Trump explaining why he believes that a 45% tariff on Chinese goods is bad for American Consumers overall.

He believes that the best way to create jobs in the USA is to make the creation of businesses attractive to investors and businessmen everywhere — lower and simpler taxes ( individual and corporate ), curbing unnecessary regulations, a stable dollar, encouraging all forms of energy innovation.

Now a legitimate disagreement can be made regarding whether tariffs on Mexico and China or even the rejection of NAFTA will bring jobs back to the USA ( Ted Cruz disagrees with this ). This is a VALID policy debate and I wish that with the filed of candidates now down to a mere 3, they would get the opportunity to debate this one more time ( minus the personal stuff ).

If those who believe that Trump’s trade proposal makes the better sense, go ahead and vote for him. I personally believe that it won’t work and will even worsen the situation.

to hell with voters voting, just let the establishment pick the guy as they know so much better tan those foolish, dumb, voters.

This is exactly what they are going to do. Cruz's supporters are going to be in for a big surprise when his new friends in the Republican establishment thank Ted Cruz for blocking Donald Trump by nominating someone not named Ted Cruz for the GOP ticket.

I don’t want to see one cruz supporter on here acting angry or surprised when cruz is backstabbed off the establishment. He is their darling right now, but once he has done their dirty work they will throw him out as garbage.

They voted for cruz, they voted for the establishment, they voted for the contested convention and to hell with them .

You’re just having a trumper tantrum cause the Donald isn’t as smart as he pretends to be. He’s to busy tweeting and being a rock star to do the real work to win the nomination just like he’d be if he won the presidency.

He’s not half as smart as both you and he think he is.

I believe in open borders for trade...I think Cruz agrees with me.

I believe in sending away all illegals...I think Cruz agrees with me.

I believe that Cruz is a “convenient” conservative - and actually is a globalist.

Yes, Cruz refers to the NE story as garbage but this is smoke and mirrors to deflect from the substantive issues. The whole thing about his wife being "attacked" was ridiculous, especially after his campaign did the photo of Melania. I think the whole thing was a set up - Cruz knew the story about the women was out there for months.

Ted is not someone I no longer trust AT ALL and I supported him at first.

RE: I believe that Cruz is a “convenient” conservative - and actually is a globalist.

You can believe all you want. But I judge by his OVERALL record as Texas Solicitor General, as one who has argued 9 cases in the Supreme Court, and as Senator.

I do not judge a person by one or two tactical mistakes in voting as a Senator.

Would Ronald Reagan’s signing to give amnesty to millions of illegals in 1987 and his compromise with Congress to increase taxes on the federal gas tax and the cigarette tax then overshadow his record IN TOTAL? Of course not.

These mistakes PALE in comparison to his overall record as President.

In the same way, I am not going to jump into the conclusion and then say that Ted Cruz is simply a convenient conservative based on these two bills.

For instance, If there is a “New World Order” agenda on the rise, it is reasonable to assume that a gun ban would be helpful. I fail to believe the people (especially in the South) would be cooperating with a one world government. How does one accomplish that goal with an entire country of armed citizens?

Ted Cruz has been a constant member of the fight for the United States’ Second Amendment to the Constitution. Not only did he represent the State of Texas at the Supreme Court to fight for the 2nd Amendment, but he regularly has rallies for gun rights

Another problematic issue point for the “Globalist” claim, is the fact that Cruz has routinely attacked climate change and the existence thereof.

Many disbelievers refer to the climate change agenda as a scam to help bring in the “New World Order”.

Citing satellite data showing no significant warming, Cruz explained why he thinks those who promote the idea of climate change choose to ignore such facts.

So no, the record DOES NOT SHOW that Cruz is a globalist who would surrender America’s sovereignty to foreign organizations like the UN.

Big whoop. Many of the independents voting in the GOP primary are closet Dems who just want to mess with the GOP race and they know that Trump is the best way to do that since he is the least likely to beat Hillary.

If Bernie wasn’t such a threat to Hillary, we’d see a lot more of this, but the Dems have got a real race of their own to worry about this time around.

The GOP needs to wise up and start insisting on closed primaries across the board. It makes absolutely no sense to open the nomination process to independents, and particularly, to Democrats as is the case today in Wisconsin.

If you’re talking policy to a Trump supporter/Cruz hater, you’re wasting your time. If policy consistency mattered to them, they’d never have latched onto Trump in the first place. This is all about following, not analyzing.

I can’t figure out if you watched the speech or not. This is by a guy who was there...in the trenches with Cruz and this is what he has to say.

You can vote for whoever you want...I am not voting for Cruz.

Let’s see if I have this straight. The GOPe cancels the primary election in Colorado. Now the GOPe gets to select the delegates. Now we know why there is a Tea Party.

“However, very recently, after giving it much thought, Ted Cruz issued an immigration plan that went even further right”

He did this because he had no “lane” left to him for the nomination; too many of his fellow open border pals running; So he did a complete 180 to separate himself. That is why he is so hated in DC; not because he is the people’s “warrior”, but because he is a deceitful, opportunistic politician.

Cruz embodies everything that is wrong with our government.

Let’s see..

Cruz didn’t formalize his US citizenship until 2014

Cruz used his political positions in Texas as a stepping stone, while defending anti-American clients for big bucks

Cruz started running for President the day after he won his Senate seat, using taking taxpayer dollars for his own personal gain

Cruz uses the Bible as a campaign prop

In Florida, we call that .....Marco Rubio
