Trump answered that... IF abortion was illegal...a hypothetical question at best...those who participate in it should be punished. IOW, if they broke a law they deserve punishment. What is wrong with that??

A proper insight would be that the women are punishing themselves with the aid of these lefty, so-called friends.
Trump wasn’t even wrong, though, for saying the “law” should stay the same. Because we don’t have a “law” problem — heaven knows how many legal efforts big and small have been made to rein in this tragedy, only to be quashed in courts. We have a “court” problem.

I consider myself very pro-life. I didn’t know that weasel words that a woman who has an abortion is not to be held accountable is the talking point of the day.
Women can not be excused from their actions. We are not talking about the scared little girl who may be pressured into an abortion, but a woman who can sign up to fight for this country. She has control over her body and if it was ever made illegal again, she can be held accountable for her actions. What about the woman who has 2,3, or 4 abortions, is she not accountable?

Trump’s pre-recorded comments for the Sunday shows tomorrow will say that he does not think that abortion laws should be changed. But he accuses pro-lifers - - he said last time that pro-lifers want to punish the women, incorrectly. He is effectively slandering us. He is just all over the map. It’s impossible for someone to follow what he says and logically agree with him. You have to admit that he is a mess on a lot of issues. Not good presidential material. But, to some people, who cares? And the good pastor, how can he be so sure Roe vs. Wade will be overturned in ten or Twenty Years? Best to leave difficult issues to people who have worked through them.
Trump is a lifelong leftist / progressive and he believes all of the negative stereotypes about conservatives and makes these comments thinking they will appeal to us and has been getting taken about by the outrage he wasn’t expecting. He apparently believed that we were pro-life for the sake if increasing government power and not about merely protecting innocent children and creating a culture that respects and values life. He’s doesn’t understand us - because he isn’t one of us.
