This is just the softening up operation. RNC delegates will deprive Trump of the nomination, even if he's slightly oVER the 1237 number, with faithless delegates and unpledged delegates both breaking away from him. Cruz will likewise fail on subsequent ballots and after lots of TV drama Paul Ryan will be brought in to save the day.
The GOP loss this fall will be epic.

If, if they steal the nomination from Trump, there is no way I would ever vote for their choice. And I will withdraw from the Republican party. And I would vote for Trump if he ran third party. A vote for Rove’s choice would not be any different than a vote for the witch. It would only mean the electoral process has become useless to determine the fate of the nation.
However, who appointed Rove as overseer of the nation? I think Trump will get more than the 1237 votes and will make the efforts of this little worm useless.

Who can forget Rove forcasting a Romney win, Trump peaked at 15%, 20%, 25%, 28%, 30%, 35%, 40%, 45%.
Rove, on the Bush staff while working for Faux claiming Bush won every debate and Trump had peaked, peaked I tell ya.
I believe there is an element of truth to that. As a non trump supporter, I've watched these millions spent in Florida as well as other primary states to bash trump from the PACs, they had little to no effect on the primary results, but the attacks have had an impact with the voting population at large. Independents and democrats watch the same shows as republican primary voters and the anti-woman, anti-Muslim and bankruptcy attacks (all misguided) are now well planted in voters minds. Not good.
