CONFIRMED: Cruz Camp Stealing Trump Delegates from States Trump Won (VIDEO)

Townhall reporter Guy Benson today admitted the Cruz campaign is stealing Trump delegates in states that Trump won.

cruz car trump

The Ted Cruz campaign is running Cruz supporters as Trump delegates in states that Trump won. That way they can steal the nomination from Trump in Cleveland although they’ve only won a fraction of the states Trump has won.

Guy Benson: This has been percolating for several months. He has a very sharp legal team that know the rules inside and out in a way the Trump campaign clearly does not. It’s not just Louisiana. And it’s not just finagling to just get Rubio delegates or unbound delegates. What they’re also doing is getting people elected as Trump delegates who are not, in fact, Trump loyalists. So they would be bound to Donald Trump on the first ballot only. After which, although they are technically Trump delegates, they’ve been sort of put in place to jump.

And these are the same people who call Trump supporters ‘morons’ one day and beg them to support Ted Cruz the next.

This would be the cause for his negatives being so high.

That could change of course, but it should alarm everyone his negatives are the highest of any candidate since they began tracking that variable. That he is losing women so quickly is also alarming. From my experience with women, once you lose them, it is nearly impossible to get them back.

I tend to pity victims of con artists. Unfortunately, they are screwing up the most winnable election we’ve been faced with in decades.
I just hope some of these veterans and others will face with honor what they have done when it is over. I fear they will blame anyone and anything other than themselves.

No, in my mind it is Not Trump.

You’re being conned. He’s never going to win. Have you seen any polls? At all?

He has managed to be majority (that’s over 50%) unlikeable with white males! That’s supposed to be his bread and butter.

You do know that number of votes and how many states has nothing to do with anything if you don’t get 1237 delegates don’t you!!!!!

The entire system is a waste of time due to the states that allow crossover voting. The parties have the right to run their business the way they see fit. We may not like it, but that is the truth. When you introduce a whole bunch of people into the primary vote who become a Democrat or a Republican for a day, you really have no idea if the votes being cast truly represent the will of the party delegates or vice versa. It’s one big crazy mess.

I and pretty much everyone is more than aware of this election...just as they were Obama’s......it’s dynamics are more than similar. Just the players are on the other side....

That said....I don’t vote according to mass appeal..we do understand the dynamics of a media trotted out Candidate. In Trumps case he’s played them well likewise they him... because he’s manipulated them for years to his benefit and he’s always saying or doing something outlandish for the press to run with......he just moved it all into the election cycle.

So with this the ground was never a level playing field for any but Trump.....even when others win or Trump looses the media always runs it in relation to Trump.

People are right to say this is all about Hollywood notority ,theatrics and drama....that is what too many voters desire and want...and that is what they will get if Trump wins...... Trump is their Obama!

If you were really concerned about the winnable general election you would recognize that you are in the minority and stop pushing number two.

Trump has horrible polls against Clinton or Sanders, and the highest unfavorables of anyone who has ever run since they started taking these polls.

Examine yourself first. You idiots left us with Cruz as the best option left. His odds are bad, but a lot better than Trump’s.

No, it's called denying the majority of voters their choice.

To actually use the “rulebook” to justify the candidate you support winning in such a fashion is pitiful. If it was a very close count in the end, perhaps it could be justified, but it would still leave a poor taste in the mouth of voters you would need to have him win the general.

Such a tactic will only insure that the dem candidate will win. It doesn't matter anyways, because if Cruz is the nominee, he already has no chance to win the general, and this would just make it a worse showing than it would already be.

No one has a majority. Words mean things.

And if pigs had wings Hitlery would be a great candidate.

Even if that did happen, the House of Reps would pick the POTUS. There is only one ballot in the Electoral College.

You can parse it any way you choose. If Mr. Trump has 1100 delegates and Cruz has 700, there is no way to justify having Cruz win the nomination no matter how you play by the rulebook.

Doesn’t matter anyways. Cruz cannot win the general in any circumstance.
