MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Ted Cruz says there is a risk that Donald Trump supporters would bolt from the Republican Party if he loses the nomination at the GOP convention this summer.

That’s why Cruz said in an interview on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee on Thursday that the best course is for the Texas senator to win a majority of the delegates before then.

Well Cruz is right about that

I am voting for Trump, not the party

Wow! Cruz is brilliant! He’s right about this Trump supporter. He needs to go ahead and educate the populace how his supporters will bolt if Trump wins the nomination.

Well, as much as I share your sentiment, the risk that we will bolt is very, very high. I sure won’t vote for Cruz - not now, not ever.

Actually, Trump has a great shot at winning with the majority. Cruz has a tiny sliver of a chance. He should step aside.

Me either.

There is a distinct possibility that Trump could win third-party.

Trump has succeeded in forming a 3rd Party within the walls of the Republican Party.

Trump must have thought long and hard before he decided to self fund.

Gee, Ted Cruz is surprised people might refuse to support him if he gets the nomination through some shady smoke-filled backroom deal with the GOP establishment, despite Donald Trump getting millions more votes than him in the primaries?

That also works the other way around.

We wouldn’t be in this mess if the GOP did what they were elected to do in 2010 and 2014.

Well, like I’ve said many times before, after this election we need to find a candidate that can unite all the legs of the conservative stool to run against President Clinton in 2020

Cruz is right about Trump’s supporters could bolt. I’ll write in Trump if they steal the nomination from him.

And there is no way Cruz can win 85% of the remaining delegates.

So either Trump is going to win it outright (what I’m hoping for).

Or Trump and Cruz will come together and the GOPe won’t be able to steal it.

Or say hello to President Arkanside or President Socialist.

Ditto...I wouldn’t be able to live with myself knowing I checked the Cruz box. The Republican party no longer represents their base. Many who vote for Trump have no loyalty to the party, because the party has no loyalty to us.
