MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Ted Cruz says there is a risk that Donald Trump supporters would bolt from the Republican Party if he loses the nomination at the GOP convention this summer.

That’s why Cruz said in an interview on WTMJ radio in Milwaukee on Thursday that the best course is for the Texas senator to win a majority of the delegates before then.

You can say that again..I left for a few months and it’s gotten even worse...I can only hope that it’s a symptom of frantic primary elections and that the true overall goal is to defeat liberalism.

I believe that by April 19th, certainly the 26th Ted will be numerically eliminated from getting 1237 delegates.

I am sick to death of the vitriol and stupidity found of FR threads that concern the GOP primary.

I have come to the conclusion that many of those who speak with such absolute finality in regard to Trump or Cruz are EITHER overflowing with emotion and under supplied with rationality, sitting in front of their computers far too many hours per day looking for a fight, and alienating the very people they will need in the fall to win OR they are agents of the opposition trying to disrupt conservatives.

In either case, they are useless, obnoxious, and deservedly ignorable. This thread is proof enough of that.

"Cruz is a ding-a-ling."

And Ted is "Cruzy"!   (See definition of that term at this link.)

No need for third party.

We will have many months to educate every voter in every state how to write in

DONALD J TRUMP for President

Happens all the time. Voters choose to vote and choose to write in their candidate of choice.

Slambat ~ It’s a fact Cruz is conservative and Trump is not.

SpaceBar ~ Which one weighs more than a duck?

That's not a carrot, that's his real nose!

IF he wins it will be the party of Trump. That’s another thing they are terrified of.

I gotta disagree. Until that sliver disappears he has a duty to stay in.

If that means he stops trump from getting a majority, well that’s trump’s fault.

I’m still positive that Cruz has the majority of delegates if the also rans had stepped out sooner. They didn’t and that’s just history now.

With the party as divided right now and horribly so. The ugliness isn’t abating. A race to the finish, a humble Victor and a gracious loser will do wonders.

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result.

How many times do we have to accept the GOPe flavor of the campaign? How many times are we expected to pull the lever for the Republican, because the Democrat "will be so much worse"? How many times do we have to listen to red meat conservatism on the campaign trail, only to have our elected leaders "moderate" when they get to Washington, and hand Obama practically every thing he asks for?

We are the majority party in BOTH houses of Congress right now, and we still refuse to fight Obama.

I think you should add New York to that list. No way Cruz’s comment about New York Values is ever going to be forgotten!

I’m kinda getting sick of the posters who want to tell us how they want to set the decorum of the GOP campaign threads.

If they don’t like the “tone” then go on home!

How are you able to type in a straight jacket?
