Cruz also challenged Trump to a one-on-one debate in Wisconsin on Tuesday night: 'Why don't you show up and debate like a man?'
Ted Cruz declined to answer a question on Monday about whether he has ever been unfaithful to his wife Heidi.
'Senator Cruz,' DailyMail.com asked him, 'can you please swat down more definitively this National Enquirer piece by telling us on the record that you've never been unfaithful to your wife?'
The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.
Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.
But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

The reporter tee-d it up for him beautifully, all Cruz had to say was, “Yes, I have always been faithful to my wife” - and he had a surrogate answer for him!
This is astounding.

Cruz, the “Face of God” and the “Principled Conservative” tried to shame Melania as a “slut” all the while knowing he was banging a number of “sluts”(they must be sluts, right? According to the Disciple Ted?)and lying to his wife about it not to mention the voters. And if Melania is a “slut” and Cruz’ closet-mates are “sluts,” what’s that make Ted Cruz?
I re-watched that news conference with Cruz and Fiorina and Ted Cruz deflected the question. He lied. He’s a conniving, greasy piece of **** liar. A sanctimonious lying hypocrite. And you make excuses for him. Sad.
I’ve never seen a time when so many have been struck with such staggering delusion. Its as if they have all lost their collective minds and do not have the smallest ability to think, discern, reason.

It is getting pretty obvious that he has had affair(s). He has not demanded retraction of the article and today he refused to simply say he was faithful to his wife...that is very very damning.

Well, why indeed. Really, he could have made a short, clear, simple denial for the benefit of the LIV he may need votes from one day, and then dropped the subject. He won't let it go -- over, and over, he complains he's being smeared and then smears Trump. It really is not him at his finest.

Worse than Cruz non denial was him looking so weak next to Carly as she blatantly covered for him. He’s running for world leader and he looked helpless and hopeless. Anyone undecided about him would conclude he is both dishonest and weak. Sickening of him to hide behind skirts after chasing them.
