Senator Ted Cruz has been called Lyin’ Ted Cruz, by his campaign opponents due to the frequency of his telling outright lies. The frequency of falsehood is so excessive Politifact actually did a story about 90 random Cruz assertions which were checked and only 6% of his statements are actually TRUE, only 16% had SOME TRUTH.
Yesterday Senator Cruz appeared on Fox News Sunday (full video here) and was caught in several more lies to add to his abysmal record. ....

Common core math? He's already spent over $30 million of his own money, plus more money from small donation from regular people (no special interests unlike Cruz) and hats/merchandize purchases. Provided you actually have a source, your number must be from several months ago. Your point is irrelevant, however, since Trump very frequently says that he accepts small donations from the American people--which is something nobody cares about, only about the potential for politicians to be "bought."
And by the way, there have been several reports that Trump criticized the Iraq invasion publicly three weeks after it occurred in 2003. Anderson Cooper also mentioned that in the South Carolina Town Hall. Trump wasn't a politician. It's not surprising that we don't have more info on his views prior to the invasion. (The hesitant answer he gave Howard Stern was the year before, when everything was highly speculative.) It is undeniable that after the invasion, he made his opposition to the war clear on numerous occasions.
The problem with Trump is his tendency to exaggerate or get some of the details off. Cruz's lies strike me as far more calculated and lawyerly, and are usually about important topics, which makes it worse in my mind.
Last statement is a blatant lie and the rest is out of context. Provide a link and time in video of the alleged statement.
Trump has a way of making deals to save incredible amounts of expense. He also knows that government intervention in paying doctors and paying for prescriptions has opened the doors to wide abuse and ratcheting up pricing to obscene levels. He will take a hammer to that.
Trump is a problem solver. He knows politicians are the worst dealmakers. They are the cause of the present dysfunctional health system, they and private party GREED. He knows what to do with these people. He’s dealt with their kind all his life.
People are not going to be left behind. Those that have insurance are going to get coverage without paying through the nose on deductibles just as it was only 20 short years ago. Those without insurance will get ER care and he will make a deal with hospitals to get it done. Doctors are horrible financial managers and hospital administrators price everything based on Medicare pricing, hence ERs and hospitals have become obscenely expensive as hospital owners and insurance companies become filthy rich.
There is simply not any candidate alive that has the business acumen of Donald Trump. He will get it done on schedule and under budget.
Americans will not tolerate people dying at entryways to ERs. They will be taken care of and Trump will show medical finance people how to cost and price their business so they stay afloat and at the same time service the demand.

Trump is a showman and businessman, and rookie politician. Aristotle states in The Rhetoric that embellishment is a legitimate rhetorical device. Trump is always selling the sizzle along with the steak. His shareholders and employees expect it. He’ll get better at lying.
Cruz is a lawyer and now, professional politician, and should know this: Misrepresentation – the intentional making of a material false statement, or the failure to disclose when a duty to disclose exists, which causes the plaintiff a pecuniary loss; it is also called fraudulent misrepresentation, fraud, or the tort of fraud or deceit. We’ve come to expect it from our politicians.

So....their “blatant lie” is that Ted Cruz said he immediately denounced the Melania Trump attack ads (mailers in Utah) put forth by a Pro-Cruz Super-PAC.
Ok, and according to ConservativeTreehouse, (i.e. Trump propaganda machine), because he didn’t make a statement BEFORE the Utah vote, this wasn’t immediate enough for them. He made the denouncement on Wednesday. Never mind that Cruz didn’t know about the add until Trump started his twitter trumpertantrum....as most people didn’t know about it either, until then.
So...again these people are arguing over semantics, in order to slander Cruz. He didn’t lie. A lie would be saying he did, if he never did. That would be a blatant lie. Saying you immediately came out and did something, as soon as you found out about it, is what Cruz did. If other people don’t think it was fast enough or according to their timing, that’s on them. It does not make what Cruz said, a LIE.
But as Trumpers go, they twist it to fit their narrative. Never mind that they really don’t have a leg to stand on, when calling ANYONE a liar. I mean, it’s SO amazing to me, how many ACTUAL “blatant lies” their hero gets away with, and completely dismisses, ignores, deflects and defends. And they have the gall to say Cruz lies?
Remember...Trump is the “honest one” in the race (I’ll need a moment as I try to recover from laughing so hard).

Trump is in favor of an ObamaCare that is more efficient. His support for the ObamaCare mandate should unsettle anyone who thinks they are not voting for an old style populist Democrat. This willingness to use the coercive power of the state to achieve an end is reminiscent of the experience of the widow in Atlantic City whose house Trump tried to take.

It is hard to get any further from the mainstream of conservative and Republican philosophy or the national mood than supporting the ObamaCare mandate. How the ObamaCare mandate, which rather requires you to have a job in order to pay the premiums, keeps anyone from “dying on the street” is a mystery. Likewise, the existence of a plan predicated on killing off the sick and vulnerable by neglect is new to me. There are a few takeaways from this. First and foremost, Trump doesn’t have a freakin clue as to what he’s talking about. What he’s obviously done is extract a few focus group tested themes, like “dying on the street,” and “get rid of the lines,” and he simply says these over and over with connecting verbiage. The plan Trump refers to, the one that apparently suspends the idea of supply and demand and guarantees everyone a free lunch, simply does not exist.
Notice that you focus, like your lawyer candidate, on the phrase "as soon as it came out," so you can distract from the fact that he never denounced the ad at all like he claimed. You then write, "he... disavow[ed] any connection with it," which, you, being Mr. Lawyer Apprentice, would understand is different from denouncing the ad itself.

I’m a Cruz supporter and have only voted on that caucus twice. Not everyone votes on the caucus.
