Two Egyptian TV hosts recently clashed live on air over the question who should be held accountable for the Brussels terrorist attacks. Rania Al-Badawi said that the West was responsible for the rise of ISIS and Al-Qaeda, while Amr Adeeb countered that this ideology stemmed from within Islam itself. "I know you are not comfortable with the truth," he said, but "they are from among us!" Emotions ran high on the show, which aired on Al-Yawm TV on March 22, 2016.

LOL, pretty much the same, but in this case you actually have a moderate/secular muslim admitting Islam is at fault.

Only recently, have I discovered just how much emotion the average Egyptian puts into every public expression. They are very up front about their anti-semitism. They make the Italians look as serene as Swedes. Serene, as in before all the rape-fugees came pouring in.

I know, right? I think under their current government Egyptians have more rights to free speech than most muslim countries.

Part of what made Egypt more Westernized IMO, is having to deal with the Arabs on the West Bank and Gaza.
