He mentioned it quickly but did not condemn it for several days.
He should have disavowed it when he first spoke about it.
But all he said is "it wasn't us" so it seems he approved but didn't want the blame

Absolutely agree......if it’s indeed true. I’ve not seen anything on a credible news site reporting that it is.
Ted Cruz did remark that he doesn’t want to copulate with Trump. [I’m quite certain Trump is glad to hear that.]

Agree. That didn’t make a bit of sense. He should’ve disavowed the PAC’s ploy and condemned the PAC leader (Night Mair)...and suggest PAC to disband, like Trump did with PACs that started for him.
You just never know. That strange connection doesn’t make any sense.

I know narcissists believe they can get away with anything but I simply don’t believe a senator as recognizable as Cruz would be entering and exiting a hotel in DC with a mistress. I just can’t believe he’s that damned stupid.
Honestly, everyone has gone silent over this Ted + 5 issue.
Bet it’s not very quiet at the Cruz household this weekend.

What do I take away from it?
Empathy for Heidi Cruz
She changed her lifestyle and career trajectory to help Ted and his political ambitions and to have a family he needed to fulfill those aspirations
And she must have loved him to do all that
It’s pitiful and I can read her history and see its wrecked her mentally
And she is hardly unattractive btw herself
Not to me anyhow....id be proud to call her mine were I in play
All that and if he betrayed her like this he’s an asshole
And then to have the nerve to be so GD preachy .....
I disliked the finger pointers when I was little 50 years ago and the Cruz candidacy here has reminded me they still exist

If he did all this he deserves scorn and a divorce
I would agree except for Cruz’s stupid “Blame Trump” mantra for everything. His obsession with Trump is not gaining him anything. The Chicago violence was an example where Cruz could have stood out. Instead, his statement was a big turn-off for many.
I think she’s an attractive woman. She’s not Melania but she’s a nice-looking woman. (To be honest, top models, in person, are not the most beautiful women. Too weirdly tall, too thin - I see them running to jobs on the streets of NYC all the time. They often remind me of giraffes in human form.)
Of course, to be a total cliché, we never know what goes on in these marriages. Maybe it’s a power marriage, maybe it’s a sham or maybe she’s one very unhappy wife.
To be frank, this scandal was the final piece in the Cruz puzzle. I liked what he had to say but he was off-putting at the same time. I tried, last year, to ignore my warning signals but just couldn’t. It’s come full circle for me. He needs to get out of the race - soon.
Of course there is. And, if the story was false Cruz would demand a retraction...but Cruz knows it is true so he doesn’t

And she is usually pretty intuitive

Yes, that’s the problem - that lack of genuineness. Even Rush once eluded to it.
Why not? The MSM refused to print the whole Clinton/Lewinski story and don’t say that that’s because Slick Willie is a Dem.
