The National Enquirer published a story this week accusing Texas Senator Ted Cruz of multiple extramarital affairs.

It was discovered that weeks ago a large number of Marco Rubio operatives and supporters were trying to bring the sex scandal story to the MSM attention.
Under the open guise of #TheThing they were communicating via various twitter feeds and following along to see if the story had been picked up. Most of the activity was centered around March 10th – March 15th.
Yesterday the hashtag CruzSexScandal went viral. Today, many of those DC operatives, participants, supporters, consultants, Super-PAC’s and campaign advisors have spent a great deal of time deleting their (The Thing) participation. The peak of their scrubbing coincided with Senator Ted Cruz accusing Donald Trump of planting the story.

Virtually everyone in the blog-o-sphere who supported Marco Rubio was active, tweeting, re-tweeting, or following the events related to #TheThing. Now they’re running for cover and trying to hide their fingerprints.
Anti-Trump Republican operative Rick Wilson tweeted this out weeks ago. (He has since deleted it.)

the whole Canadian birth thing....back when supported him I thought.."for sure he got this cover...he knows the dem will go after him so he would be super prepared for this.... but when it came up he just blew in off like it didn't exist....

I really do need to stay off of the “cheating scandal” threads. Two of the women accused have denied it. One of them, Katrina Pierson, is a Trump spokesperson. One would think that she could “take one for the Trump team” and come forth with a statement saying that yes she was involved with Ted, etc. I am sure that Mr. Trump would take care of her well for having to go through the embarrassment.
It is amazing how the gossip and rumors have taken over Free Republic. Based on a National Enquirer article talking about other “reports that may...” (not even their own reporting!) and TWITTER posts that ANYBODY can post to.
The in-fighting is unavoidable.
But we should all have two words written backwards in laundry marker on our chests so we read them in the bathroom mirror when we get up in the morning and go to bed at night:
BEAT HILLARY.
The story is getting some legs and it looks like Ted got plenty of leg too.
I don’t become aware of a problem unless someone brings it to my attention. From now on I’ll be more careful using that word, the proper one.

I have several life experiences that prove the above. I’m always wary of those that carry a bible and proclaim their Christianity to me. My head always says RUN!
Wait, are we talking about the nude photo shoot Melania got paid for by GQ and are already in the public domain? These aren't like secret nude shots some PI got, these are pictures Melania voluntarily posed for.
Further, Cruz did say the SuperPAC ad was inappropriate and he had nothing to do with it. Do you have evidence the Cruz campaign coordinated with the SuperPAC that put the Melania ad out? Cause you know, if you had that kind of evidence you should go to to the FEC immediately because that would be a crime.
If Trump had anything to do with it you would think she would be admitting to the affair to bolster the claims. She is not. This has the marks of GOPe divide and conquer game. Clearly. And I'm a Trump supporter. Make no mistake.
I think those who are Trump supporters jumping in on the story and relishing it are probably just eager to find a mistake in Ted because of what they see as a self righteous attitude and vindication of hypocrisy is always relishing. However, I think that is a mistake and the forces that wish to divide conservative and conservative leaning people are the ones relishing this the most. Divide and conquer at the convention. It will not work. FU GOPe
