What is interesting is Cruz attacked Mr. Trump and not the Enquirer. An innocent man would have attacked the paper reporting the scandal and not deflect blame to someone else.
Trump did the same thing with the PAC that showed Melina so no one is wearing a halo in this mess.
I don’t know if this story is true. If it is true, then there’s no evidence Trump was behind it. I give him the benefit of the doubt the same way I gave Cruz the benefit of the doubt on the Melina ad unless anything gets proven

The Enquirer endorsed Donald Trump. His close friendship with the appropriately named owner, David Pecker, is well known. The sole source of the story is the Trump Communications Director, Roger Stone.
I realize that. I was curious why the word “utterly” would signify anything....doesn’t really matter.
I have a hard time he would have five affairs. Not impossible, of course, but five? Who knows.

The Cruz super pac calls Trump’s wife a slut and Cruz does a sergeant Schultz impression. I know nothing. I see nothing. I hear nothing. Everyone defends Cruz saying he has no control over the super pac.
The National Enquirer does a sex scandal piece on Cruz and Trump is to blame even though Trump has no control over the NE.
What a double standard.

From what I’m reading here, the hypocrisy and double standard seems to be working both sides.
I gave Cruz the benefit of the doubt on that ad till proven otherwise. I give Trump the same with this story even if proven to be true.

The only person whose name has been released is Trump’s own spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson — a former spokeswoman for Cruz.
She is identified in the Enquirer piece as one of the alleged mistresses via a partially distorted photo that’s nonetheless clear enough.
But she is denying the story. Here are her Tweets:

Unless there is something truly substantial, like photos and videos, it should be ignored.
Truth is Trump has admitted to many affairs. And no, the difference is not the hypocrisy of Cruz running as a Christian conservative. Trump claims to be Christian too. The difference is this could compromise Cruz for blackmail. That is when affairs become a real threat. But anyone can make up a claim about anyone. And it is very hard for a political candidate to stop false allegations.
Katrina Pierson has emphatically denied this allegation. Since you claim to “know”, what is your proof? Where is the evidence? Even the Enquirer is only reporting this as rumor, not fact.

Why would anyone want to support Cruz, the man who gave up his Canadian citizenship in 2014?
Apparently the citizens of Texas had no idea he was not a US citizen when they elected him.
I’m not surprised that the Cruz campaign created the anti-Trump ad. Cruz has turned out to be a real weasel, and I retract anything good I ever said about the man.
Three of the names are already released. Only the schoolteacher and hooker remain unidentified.
