WHY? the desire to know the truth should not be limited to attorneys or lawyers. It applies to all voters.

When you start talking about 'cross-examination' you are inferring (whether deliberately or unintentionally) to a legal process.

I'm not trying to convince you of a thing. You want to know the 'names' of the alleged mistresses and those names have been posted numerous times in this thread, but you keep asking. You want "proof" but you fail to understand that the proof is in the hands of the National Enquirer and you can be sure they will release that proof when they are damn good and ready to do so, and they don't care if FReeper 'SeekAndFind' is impatient for it or not.

You're just going to have to cool your heels until everything comes out.

We can’t have proof of the mistress thing until someone comes out with proof.

However, I do offer a circumstantial thought in support of the idea that Donald Trump is not behind this in retaliation for the Melania pictures.

A number of sources have said they sat on the story.

National Enquirer is said to have taken time checking it out.

In short, this story has been around longer than a week ago when the Melania pictures were released in Utah.

Cross examinations are not simply a tool that lawyers use. People who desire to know the truth can use this method to determine the truth or falsity of a claim. Interviewers can use it as well.

Where? All I get is one name — Katrina Pierson. Her name was leaked by the Enquirer but she tweeted that National Enquirer story is 100% FALSE!!!

No it isn’t difficult at all. No more difficult than it was for Cruz to deny any involvement in the pro- Cruz Pac using the photo of Melania to slut shame her in Utah, or the Cruz campaign worker Andrea McWilliams on Fox Business before Florida stating if Trump became President Melania would be the 1st nude first lady and the 1st foreign first lady.

It’s amazing how quickly some people have turned into hypocrites. Or maybe these people were hypocrites all along. Either way Cruz is as sleazy as they come. I can’t believe I was filled by that creep.

I agree with you FRiend. The fact is, although Trump may appear to some people as being reckless and a risk taker, the fact is, he does not take unnecessary risk or risks from which there is no fall back position, and having come this far in the primary process, I maintain he is not going to do anything which could have the potential to totally derail his path to the nomination.

We have a plethora of suspects, we have the hacking group 'Anonymous' who threatened to expose Cruz' indiscretions 10 days ago if he didn't drop out, we have the 'RATS who are experts on opposition research and directing attention at Cruz over this or any scandal is tailor made to avoid more scrutiny on Hillary's legal troubles regarding her illegal email operations.

And we have our own "enemy within", i.e., the GOPe and I wouldn't put it past the Bush Crime Syndicate to have come out and supported Cruz (Neil Bush, then Jeb) and then torpedoed him from the inside, and who would that benefit?

Jeb Bush and the GOPe. Does anyone remember his saying that he was going to be the nominee, even when he was failing to win even one primary? I think Jeb knew 'the fix was in'.

There are all sorts of possible scenarios, but if this Cruz scandal turns out to be true at any level, it means that the GOPe benefits, they'll dump Cruz overnight, they will attempt to re-direct his delegates to either 'uncommitted' or to Kasich, all in the interest of their primary objective which is to stop Trump.

That Chinese proverb (or curse) "may you live in interesting times" is definitely manifesting itself.

The Anti Trump PAC is not a pro Cruz PAC. They have also said they have nothing to do with Cruz.

The specificity of this accusation gives it a little credibility. And it would warrant firing the guy, if it is true. Also, I am pretty sure it would be illegal. But so far all I’ve seen are speculations. No credible sources yet. If you find them, please let me know. It would definitely be a game changer.

However, in this case, it would be a simple matter to bolster a claim. The Enquirer gave a specific number of women -— five.

How did they get this number? Obviously I would assume that somebody trustworthy and in the know gave them the number.

And how did that person know? well, I think it has to be someone who knows Cruz’s well.

So, providing the names of the women to bolster your report should not be a difficult thing to do.
