Private detectives are digging into at least five affairs Ted Cruz supposedly had, claimed a Washington insider. The ENQUIRER reports that Cruzs claimed mistresses include a foxy political consultant and a high-placed D.C. attorney!

I don't think NE would make a story like this up. I predict a drip, drip, drip, BOOM.
Isn’t GQ a liberal mag though? It’s hard to know who to believe anymore which is a real shame given the fact that I grew up in a home where the truth was one of the pillars of integrity and respectability

Correct but then you'd think the candidates have some awareness of their pac activities.
What’s the news saying down your way about the Cruz philandering stories? Much coverage
or hardly mentioned?
Not mentioned at all. No coverage that I have seen, but I rarely watch TV. This will be a non story until (if) Drudge goes with it.
The reason they sit on a story is because they have no evidence that it is true. They don’t want to be sued or damage their credibility. Even the Enquirer is only reporting it as rumor.
Roger Stone, the only named source in the story, does not work for Marco Rubio.
The mainstream media is reluctant to go with a story like this. I can only speculate as to their motives. Maybe they don't want to promote "slut shaming", even when the homewreckers are Republicans. Maybe they want to avoid going there because their own side has so much dirty laundry (Huma...) Maybe a few just think it's beneath their dignity. But in the internet age if it's true there's going to be no spiking this story.
I wonder if each of these 5 or 8 women knew about the others? If not, they do now and their scorn will be directed at Ted.
She used to work for Ted Cruz - she was his 2012 Texas Senate campaign spokesperson.
The GOPe hates Cruz because he jumped the line and did not wait his turn. Otherwise he is a high level GOPe insider and has been for 20 years.
Its fishing. The story is the bait to see how many more come forward. The denial is expected then the facts are presented and the fish is caught in a net of his own design.
Thus far three more women have come forward and a prostitute in Texas admits on tape that he had her travel across state line to Alexander VA. Should be easy enough to trace plane and rental car to verify her statement.
Beside the FEC investigation into the $500,000 given to Carly’s fund where a past paramour now works the man is in more than a little trouble
Rinse Prewash is going to have a busy time in Wisconsin this weekend.
NE & others fund numerous leads 24-7. Tips range 50-100 and will skyrocket when a story unfolds.
The tips are to lots of service industry people: hair dressers, barbers, taxi & limo drivers, bellman, security cops, nannies, concierge, physical trainers, ER personnel, medical staff (plastic surgeons),secretaries, waiters, hotel desk clerks, neighbors, and the like.
The money will always be there for the scoop. Cheap surveillance technology makes the jobs even easier to track targets. Anyone with major political aspirations ought to know they will be under a looking glass.
Hmm.
I just hope that it is not a sort of branding thing to mark one’s accomplishments after the fun. Wonder if any of the other four alleged have ever sported the same tattoo.
People, please.
With any story of this type, the second question to ask is “What are the facts?” (The first question to ask is “Do I care enough to even be interested in the facts, but, as we’re all political junkies here, I think we have a yes to that one.) So far, what I have, is that the National Enquirer says that Sen. Cruz had five affairs, and Sen. Cruz and one of the people he was supposed to have had an affair with, have denied it. The National Enquirer may be more reliable on such things than the New York Times (or perhaps only when Democrats are involved), but that’s not enough to take seriously. The Enquirer’s claim, alone, is enough for me to put this on my list of things to worry about, two spaces below my concern that the Federal Reserve has been taken over by space aliens. The denial of the people supposedly involved, means something (although I wouldn’t place a lot of weight on it). Until something solider is available, this means nothing.
The supposed dirt on Mrs. Cruz is that she worked for the Bush administration, once worked for the guy who put together NAFTA (I haven’t seen any claim as to whether that was at the same time, and am not interested enough to run it down), once had a job at Goldman Sachs, etc. If this is the dirt, it means she’s squeaky clean.
No one should even be taking this seriously. If anyone can come up with anything solid, that would be another matter, but so far, this is just vapor.
this all reminds me of an indignant bill Clinton denying sex with THAT woman.
(btw who is hitlary having sex with?)
So you believe unnamed sources from the NE?
The stuff about Heidi Cruz is not dirt, it’s basically her resume and how it conflicts with Ted’s resume.
I realize that Im preaching to the choir, but this needs viral FR distribution by those with large ping lists. Hopefully it makes its way to a larger audience on the web:

I have no idea. Following celebrities lives is not my thing. However, the Enquirer has a proven success rate for busting cheaters. So it’s either A or B...
A. N.E. already hold the goods on one or more of Teds’ ‘girls’ and the NE will trickle out teasers to sell as many issues as they can for as long as possible.
B. N.E. reacted to rumors and are conducting a fishing expedition to see what they can reel in. A women’s confession or story would pay a five digit sum (no pun intended) with this type of story. If they can collaborate her story, then their gamble paid out and they print.
OTH, If they publish a girl’s story and it turns out to be a fabrication, they will rightfully be sued for significant monetary damages.
