Kasich rules out vice president role, is open to Dem running mate [not satire]
Washington Examiner ^ | 3/23/2016 | Ryan Lovelace

Ohio Gov. John Kasich said he isn't willing to serve as anyone's vice president, but he indicated party affiliation would not matter to him when choosing his own running mate.

After losing the Arizona primary and trailing a candidate who is no longer running for president, Kasich hit the campaign trail in Wisconsin and told voters only he could beat the Democrats in November.

*********snip-it********

The questioner then asked whether the Ohio governor would consider selecting a Democrat as his vice presidential running mate. Kasich avoided immediately answering the question before indicating he would not rule out working with a Democrat.

This is the same man that was going to help fundraise for Gary Condit the democrat, while he was a sitting republican congressman.

After getting slapped by his own party, that changed.

And you over there in ohio, who voted for him to be the republican nominee...aren't you so proud now?

I'm wondering how much money he's received from the gop towards his candidacy, but I'll never wonder again why I won't send them money.

This guy has gone completely kooky in the past month!

Or he was always kooky and just let the curtain slip as he pursued his delusions.

To them, Hillary is a “’real’ conservative”. The Uniparty defines anything any way it wishes.

More likely he’s floating the idea of Mate Kasich. Clinton-Kasich, and it may bring Ohio.

The elite pretend to be concerned because they say, Trump isn’t a ‘real’ conservative, or a ‘real’ republican?

Trump's not a real conservative like those who just gave Obama another budget with everything he wanted.

Or the real conservatives and republicans who control the nations purse strings and let Obama rack up $8 trillion in new national debt in 7 years.

Or the real conservatives who just re-funded Planned Parenthood and Obamacare.

Or the real conservatives and republcans who confirmed Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor.

Trump appeals to independants and some democrats. Kasich seems to be trying to compete for Trump’s independant voters.

The biggest lie that Kasich tells is that he balanced the budget when in Congress. Let’s get real. The US budget has not been balanced since Dwight Eisenhower was President.

If Trump is cheated out of the nomination, the nominee is more likely to be Kasich then Cruz. Also possible is Ryan/Bush, Ryan/Romney, Ryan/Cruz, etc.

Kasich/Webb would likely carry Ohio and Virginia. Don't make the mistake of presumeling FR is representative of the country.
