Top GOP official meets with Stop Trump crowd.

A top Republican National Committee official helping to oversee the party’s convention preparations attended a series of private meetings on Wednesday with top conservative leaders – many of whom are bent on finding a way to stop Donald Trump.

Many of those there to hear Cairncross are seeking out ways to defeat Trump at a potentially contested Republican National Convention in Cleveland, going so far as to consider imposing rule changes at the convention that would hamper Trump’s ability to secure the nomination.

Those familiar with Cairncross’s remarks say he spent much of the time laying out the process of an open convention, complete with detailed explanation of the state-by-state rules for allocating delegates. He was careful, they say, to appear fair and impartial in his remarks – a position the RNC has rigidly adhered to as it navigates the treacherous waters of a divisive primary.

He also detailed the rules process, which many conservatives are delving into as they search for ways to derail Trump's march to the nomination.

"What gonna happen to all them favors the GOP owes us, huh? Donald Trump doesn't owe us any favors, so how can we cash our favors in? You gotta DO something! You telling us all these IOUs we got are no good?!"

That's what it's all about, folks.

The GOP establishment is sealing it’s own fate. They are taking aim at their own feet. As a Republican who first voted in 72, color me gone.

If they pull this crap I will vote against anyone with an R next to their name until this party is gone. And many millions more of us will do the same.

Enough is enough.

To be disenfranchised by “conservatives” is the last straw.

And I hope Trump has negotiated with another party who has ballot access in all 50 states.

Unless the GOP stops this crusade against Trump, I will walk away from Republicans for good.

Mr. Trump should make a deal with the Armed Forces that if they ensure a fair and uncorrupt outcome to our election processes , and he is elected to the Presidency , that he will allow them much greater latitude in fighting the global war on terror , let them off the leash , rescind virtually all ROE’s . He should state that the present ‘Department of Defense ‘ will be re-named as the War Department , with the ability for it’s own broad planning and actuating without civilian political control or interference .
He should promise them that if elected , he will 100% FLUSH all the progressive politically motivated mandates which Obama has directed over the last 8 years and which have critically affected , impacted and compromised their effectiveness and ability to fulfill their missions .

Mr. Trump needs to be that warrior , that works with our warriors . America needs to be led by warriors , not by lawyers or weak kneed politicians . And for those in our society that can;t handle this : there’s the door . Adios

At the same time, you are supporting a "conservative"...

The stop Trump effort is really an effort to stop us from keeping the rule of law and our country.

We will not be allowed to elect anyone as President who will enforce the laws and borders.

They had better make themselves very comfortable in DC, they shouldn’t expect to go home ever again. We should boycott who ever they lobby for....make them TOXIC

I left them after the Republicans let Obama steal our family’s health-care insurance.

A useless and counter-productive political party....

Trump is payback, and it’s a beautiful thing to see.

Doesn’t an RNC member being involved in the dirty dealing cross every conceivable line, considering the agreement Trump signed on to?

And isn’t it amazing that the one I support lives by the rules, while the ones on the globalist side don’t?

I should have referred to them as cuckservatives in my prior post.

“Blackwell, who attended several of the day’s meetings, would not comment, saying: “These were confidential meetings. I'm not at liberty to talk about it.”

According to several sources, the disagreement with Cairncross centered around whether rules implemented for the 2012 convention could be changed.

Cairncross and an RNC spokesperson declined to comment. Cairncross was joined at the meetings by John Phillippe, an RNC attorney.

The meeting was predominantly attended by conservative intellectuals and activists who have aligned themselves against Trump.”

So the RNC and other GOP globalists held 3 secret meetings to talk about changing the rules at the convention to deny Trump the nomination. They are working towards a brokered convention and possibly a third party candidate.

They clearly want Hillary to win. They include Grover Norquist, the Muslim Brotherhood stooge, and the Club for Growth.

There is no doubt in my mind that the GOPe prefers Hillary over Trump. With Hillary the corruption will continue unabated. Unfortunately from all accounts Ted has joined them.
