I agree with your analysis. Your scenario is very plausible. Even Trump stated himself in one of his interviews yesterday (might’ve been on Blitzer or even at the Post Office) that 1400 delegates by the convention was very possible.

I did not mean to suggest that and I’m sorry if it came across that way. I have seen wonderful trump supporters and some Cruz supporters make me cringe. Unfortunately it seems the loudest and most obnoxious rise to the forefront. Forgive me for painting with a broad brush

Yeah but we’re going to find out anyhow.
Serves St. Cruz right for not condemning the attacks on Melania.

Sometimes people have mental problems because their spouse misbehaves. I think we’re going to find out more about Ted’s behavior within the home.
If you mess with the bull you get the horns.
Ted Cruz is from Texas and he knows that.

You are correct. Cruz is a magnet for blithering idiots..Glenn Beck, Amanda Carpenter, Lindy Graham, etc etc.

Not when the PAC leader last worked for Perry and Carly... Both are with Ted all the time

Ted just paid Carly 500,000 Dollars thanks for tying Ted to the Ad

Agree. Amanda Carpenter, who is the resident Cruz spokesmodel on AC360, is someone I once liked.

Now she has completely gone off the rails. Her latest episode of compiling a "blacklist" of anyone in politics who supports Donald Trump is despicable. She pulls crap like that, and then complains that Trump isn't uniting the party.

A lot of these loud obnoxious voices are going to find themselves at the job bank, and it can't happen too soon.

You are on a TRUMP favoring thread that disagrees with you dramatically, and seen scowling. Expect incoming.

Your snark-for-me, but-not-for thee privilege isn’t going unnoticed, so don’t whine, correct and harrumph, and we’ll all get along with our fun party, as this thread is, after all.

Someone endorses Cruz and he goes full establishment?

Here is the thing, they are encouraging Cruz not because they like Cruz, is because they hate Trump more.

Cruz had a choice to tell the establishment, thanks but no thanks but he didn't. I would have felt so much better about Cruz if he would have kept the establishment types out of his campaign instead of embracing them.

Oh, yes, and Cruz is certifiable if he thinks he can beat Trump in both CA and NY like he said recently.

Like Cruz being right wrong about every southern state east and west of the Mississippi river except his home state. The whole dang region.

Mittens would have cleaned the other guys clock in UT.

For a non-Mormon, Cruz is doing quite well.

You got one right (Arkansas). You made the same mistake I made. Ohio and Mississippi counties aren’t in their respective states, nor is Washington County.

I was born and raised in Arkansas so I knew that one. I did think Mississippi. But, being born and raised in Arkansas I also know that there is a Mississippi County in Arkansas.

Trump is quoted in the Washington Times today saying he will get about 1,450 delegates by convention time. It's very doable. For 1,237 yeah for sure.

Both New York and OK are right. One of them, you could have given me 50 guesses, and I still wouldn’t have gotten it.

Ted never denounces bad behavior. It disgusts me.

LOL, and you're comparing him to Trump, who's never admitted he's made a single mistake in the whole campaign? And who defends his campaign manager by accusing his alleged victim of faking her bruises?

That is the way it is looking. It is very unnerving, but to avoid it Cruz has to defer to the frontrunner. Period.

Cruz is the key to the disaster and destruction of the party and for all concerned.

He is soo clinically proportioned ambitious, he thinks the GOPE will install him. LOL!

Something has to give. These delegates are privileged to vote twice. They each voted already in their respective state primary, and their candidate either won or lost there.

We are talking about 2 different things. I think the behavior of the GOPe is horrible and Romney should have kept his big trap shut, although I believe that he only helped Trump in the end. The republican party as it has been is done for, and no tears on my part for it. Their only role should have been to figure out how to support the eventual nominee.

The ones that have been alienated that need to be brought back in the fold are those voters who are looking for a true conservative to support. I have also never seen a front runner trade in personal insult and vitriol with other candidates from their own party to this degree. Without the support of the republican power machine (and I doubt Trump will ever get that) He has a lot of work to do to put together a winning voter base.
