The American College of Pediatricians issued a position statement last month entitled “Gender Ideology Harms Children,” which will be followed by a peer-reviewed statement on the subject that’s expected to be released by summer, the college told CNSNews.com.
“The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex,” the statement issued on Feb. 2 stated. “Facts – not ideology – determine reality.”
The statement – written by Dr. Michelle A. Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians, Dr. Quentin Van Meter, vice president of the American College of Pediatricians and a pediatric endocrinologist, and Dr. Paul McHugh, university distinguished service professor of psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Medical School and the former psychiatrist in chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital – cites eight reasons why “gender ideology” instead of treatment based on biological facts is harmful to children.

Many “modern” parents are too indulgent with their children. They let them do whatever they want and set no boundaries. It’s laziness and/or guilt driven for not having enough time for them.
I’ve never had the privilege of raising children of my own but I used to teach elementary school as well as help in the raising of my siblings’ children. Kids don’t LIKE being in charge and they need those boundaries. Without them, they do not do well.
How sick! It makes me wonder if he has sexually abused her. It certainly isn’t normal parental behavior to profit off your child’s sexual exploitation.
Yes, and misandry is often part of that mental disturbance. I have read that it is far more common for biological boys to be forced into becoming "girls" than vice versa.
Like you I wondered if he’d sexually abused her. But then our debauched culture justifies the psychological rape of the minds of this nation’s children via obscene sex education thereby conditioning them to accept and make themselves available to the advances of pedophiles, pornographers, rapists, etc.
