Stamina - Trump’s Lingistic Kill Shot for Clinton (Master Persuader Series)

Posted March 17th, 2016 @ 9:36am in #Trump

Donald Trump has been saying lots of bad things about Hillary Clinton for months, but the one that will stick is “stamina.” I’ll tell you why.

The best Trump kill shots have the following qualities.

1. Fresh word that is not generally used in politics

2. Relates to the physicality of the subject (so you are always reminded)

Clinton has already experienced some coughing fits on the campaign trail. And her voice often sounds hoarse, which is to be expected when you give speeches every day. Neither of those things mean much. But add the Internet rumors that Clinton has some lingering brain issues from a concussion, plus her long bathroom break during that one debate, and some rumors that she has trouble with balance, and there you go. That’s enough circumstantial “evidence” to convict her of being unhealthy.

And Trump’s comeback would be that there’s plenty of women with enough energy to do the job...Sarah Palin, for instance, as long as her HUSBAND is in good health!

Hillify needs a VEEP candidate who can get dirty and drag Trump into the gutter.

(Hmm... Fiorina?)

Hillary, with physical infirmities, may play the sympathy card and Trump would have to be careful to avoid looking as if he is bullying a woman with one foot in the grave.

I think she'll play the "poor, poor, pitiful me" card.

That's the only one that works consistently for her.

Hillary won’t accuse him herself, her surrogates will do so on her behalf

Not a problem. Trump will retort, "If she can't even stand up to me how is she going to stand up to Putin or the ISIS terrorists?"

Besides the term ‘low energy’ for Jeb, Trump sometimes also made the observation - ‘Jeb’s not happy’. I thought that was a very perceptive comment and, along with the ‘low energy’ comment really conveyed, on an emotional level, a real insight into Jeb’s personality and why he would not have been the right man for the job.

Jeb was not happy. He viewed campaigning and probably the job itself as a burden. How could electing someone like that have been good for the country? He was running for all the wrong reasons. Whatever was motivating him to run, the best interests of the nation was far down on the list.

What happened in January with Trump taking on the #waronwomen crap that Hillary sent towards him was far from a problem for him. He beat them back in a devastating show of political savvy, something I had not seen done with the Clintons before.

She and slick both got burnt in one tweet and a couple of paragraphs of a press statement, then they slithered away for a week or so. Someone showed me what Cruz had said in December, that the subjects of the Clinton sex problems were off limits, and wouldn't be a part of any campaign coming from Cruz.

Bold colors. Trump knows how to use them. Watching what happened as the Clinton's were slinking away from Trump's response, along with the timidness of Cruz finally convinced me to switch in my preference of candidates.

Trump can handle them.

“They will push the war on women thing very very hard now, doing Hillary’s dirty work for her. I reckon the idea is to make her look like a victim. They are attempting to set the stage”

The perfect rejoinder is:

“Senator Clinton, the world is a rough place, and we need a tough leader who is a skilled negotiator - not a victim - to represent us. Oh, and Secretary Clinton, you want to talk about victims, let’s talk about the victims of Benghazi, let’s talk about an innocent film-maker that your administration went after and jailed because all of you lied to the world and made him the fall guy for your failures. Let’s talk about the victims that were created because you violated both the law and national security procedures and communicated on your own private server that the Russians, Chinese, North Koreans and Iranians probably hacked into with no problems? Do you want me to keep going, or is that enough for you? I could do this all day long, and its actually kind of fun - no, actually, it really isn’t - its sad.”

“Rather than being a strengh, it’s nearly a fatal weak point for her, and I would expect Trump to exploit that to the fullest.”

That’s what tough negotiators do - exploit weakness in their opponents. I want that guy on my side, on OUR side.

“Trump has a new twitter poll up with link to Instagram photo. Who should star in a reboot of “Liar, Liar”? Hillary Clinton or Ted Cruz? “

I’m guessing that Teddy won’t be his Veep at this point. :>)

The problem is, it won’t be Clinton pushing this.

Already it’s the MSM. Not in interviews where Trump can respond, but they are pushing it every 20 minutes.

Hillary is not directly saying, her surrogates and the talking heads are.

If Hillary said it, of course he would blow her out of the water, but she won’t. She has people to do that.

Of course not. That’s not what I’m saying. It may drive woman to vote for her because they don’t want a chauvinistic woman belittling male as President either.

I think painting her as weak, and dotty is good. He’s just got to do it right.

No. And "Me Too!" Ted has come out with his own movie poster spoof of the Donald.

I've seen it, but I don't remember what it was. Don't take a chance at the ballot box, or something like that?

Lame.

If we want someone to lead us into the cold, dark night of America’s decline and lull us to sleep with a grandma’s lullaby, elect Hillary. If we want a dynamic individual to lead us singing and dancing and full of hope into a new future full of possibilities, vote Trump. Simple as that. Has nothing to do with sexism. It’s about a new dawn for America.
