Donald Trump warned Wednesday that riots would break out if the GOP tries to deny him the Republican Partys nomination.
I think well win before getting to the convention. And if were 20 votes short or if were 100 short and were at 1,100 and somebody else is at 500 or 400 I dont think you can say that we dont get it automatically, he told CNN.
I think youd have riots, he added. Im representing many, many millions of people, in many cases first-time voters.
I wouldnt lead it, but I think bad things would happen, the tycoon noted.
The really big story is how many people are voting in these primaries, he said. If you just disenfranchise these people, I think you would have problems like youve never seen before.
Trump mentioned a hypothetical scenario in which hed go to the Cleveland convention in July with about 1,000 delegates and a rival would show up with 500.
He said he believes hell capture the nomination before the convention and said he couldnt imagine failing to get the partys nod virtually automatically in such a scenario.

How can they not?
Both Trump and Cruz will have the greatest number of delegates by the convention. If Trump has enough delegates, there will be no problem. If he is close, he can announce that Cruz will be his VP running mate and that will clinge the majority of the delegates to nominate.
If the GOP-e is going to try to nominate someone that has no popular support (i.e.: Jeb, Mitt, Kasich, etc.), it will tear apart the party. Trump will bolt and run as an independent, the conservative base will bolt too. The GOP will not only lose the Presidency but also the House and Senate. The party will be no more. The stakes are very high. Hence, I don’t think that the GOP-e would do that. It would be suicidal.
It does say a lot about our marketing-brainwashed population. People just don’t do their own research and haven’t been taught how to think for themselves. The same goes for churches. How many in the pews go home and debate what the Word of God says against what the preacher says.
Acts 17:11 Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
With your screen name you surely must appreciate that to build you must destroy.
I think that if Trump and Cruz truly love this country they agree to support whoever has the greatest amount of delegates among them.
The GOPe would rather serve in Hell than rule in Heaven.
Trump has about 30% more votes than Cruz has and about triple the states. Of course it would be viewed as stealing it.
Word!
As a very wise radio show host said on WTAM 1100 in Cleveland, “I have never seen Republicans riot.” Trump is bringing into the Republican process people who may not be as peaceful about things.
Welcome to FR DU...
Yup that’s a fact already!
“WE knew something might come ... and now it’s pretty sure ... something WILL come down.”
Would you go to war for Donald Trump? Would you send your son out with a gun to kill someone or be killed for Donald Trump?
Trump could turn out to be a great president. He could be a complete dud. I wouldn’t start a revolution on those odds. But then I wouldn’t base a revolution on blind faith that any one man will turn out better than the last 50 who held the office. America was founded on faith in process, the Constitution and the people. Not on faith in a fallible human.
There will be conflicts/riots whether Trump is nominated or not. The left will be there regardless of what happens inside. It will be Chicago 1968 all over again. They may also be at the Dem convention if Bernie’s not nominated, tho there’s no reason to believe he would be. Soros and Co. have unleashed the dogs and at a certain point, no one can control them.
Well... taking this as typical Trump hyperbole. Great protests yes; riots no. The other guys riot.
Violence is needed after we need to draw all the commie rats out of their holes.
Even more on faith in God, at least mostly (though there was some faith in “religion” which whitewashed some evils).
How do you propose this be orchestrated under the Constitution?
A lot of folks said that was the Democrats plan all along....Hillary then wins. The question remains, was this Trump campaign a fraud all along? If so, can they go to prison for disenfranchise voters?
