I agree 12 or how many we have had are enough. Nothing new except to give MeGyn and the other Fox panelists air time. I’m glad that Trump is skipping. That way I don’t have to watch Fox. Last night I watched CNN and even the democrats on the panel were fair and balanced. I heard that was not the case with Fox. It appears that the world has turned on its head.

You try not to listen a lot, your level of ignorance must be protected for it to survive.

But, Rubio lied to us from his heart. I am so glad that episode is finished. It was even more astounding seeing all the pundits asking what was it that went wrong for him. For me it started and ended on the presentation by the Gang of 8 and Rubio being hailed as the co-author.

Pundits never mentioned Gang of 8. The polls never changed in FL. Trump was always in the 40’s. It wasn’t Christie or attacking Trump that did Marco in. It was amnesty.

There is no concept as conservative as “Listen to the voters.”

*******************************

When you apply that to the Republicans, it’s damning because they haven’t been listening the last 7 years. In fact, they’ve been lying every election and saying “we hear you, we’ll do something about it”, then they get our votes, and return to business as usual. As someone said, the Evangelicals are to the Republicans what the blacks are to the Democrats - used for votes & thrown away. Well, I agree, but I would expand from just Evangelicals to include those who believe in Constitutional, limited/small government, etc. - everything government is not these days.

I’m at the point where it boils down to politician vs non-politician. We’ve tried ‘politicians’ for decades now - long enough to see they aren’t going to fix the mess, but continue down the same path. As Newt Gingrich said, some people are looking for a president who will kick over the table and start a new game & they are willing to risk the chaos that will happen. That is where I am. I don’t know what the future holds with Trump, but I’ll risk it because I know for certain what it holds if any politician (sadly, including Cruz) is elected - America continues to circle the drain at an ever increasing speed.

If a mailman isn’t the establishment, there is no establishment.

But Kasich wasn’t a mail clerk at Lehman Brothers in 2008.

This hurt Trump last time he tried to skip a debate. Let’s see if it has an impact this time around.

But yes it will be a snooze fest. At least with Donald in there you’re hoping to see some fireworks or to see if he shoots himself again (and watch that nobody cares).

There is a long break after this debate. Only AZ & UT follow the debate. UT will go Cruz thanks to Bishop Romney’s help and AZ will now go Trump for certain with Kasich peeling off some anti-Trump vote from Cruz. The UT debate won’t change anything.

Good move on Trumps part. Utah has a white supremacist group and an ANP compound. All they need to do is have some paid disruptors show up in brown shirts and armbands at the rally and the Media reps. would slip on their own drool.

He certainly has balls bigger than his brains. The point of a debate is to come to the correct conclusion. Not to see who can dumb down the subject to the most common denominator.

Of course I am speaking as a Republican in a republic, not as a Democrat in a democracy. In a democracy the stupidest idea always wins, because the most people can understand it.

Reality vs reality TV.

Sigh...

Don’t accuse me of ignorance. Just because I don’t take your remarks seriously does not make me ignorant.

And I repeat: I find ex-pats’ knowledge of America is a bit like a long-term prisoner who forgets what life outside the prison walls is like.

Why is Romney helping Cruz and not Kasich?

Now that we know Paul Ryan is in a back door deal I’m surprised they don’t ask him.

I got an email from American Action News saying Boehner has dropped in endorsement of Kasich and is now endorsing PAUL RYAN!

Not a Cruz supporter. Not all that excited about any of the candidates. I do know a xenophobic, bigoted misogynist when I see one and that it Trump. The guy is a fraud and you are following him over the cliff. One thing we know for sure now - racism is alive and well in America and on Free Republic.

Trump on foreign policy team: “I’m speaking with myself because I have a very good brain... My primary consultant is myself.”

Not FR worthy.

Yep they are nuts. The GOPe is done. Either they lose the party to Populist and/or conservatives. Or they lose the voters.

If Rube didn’t do the gang of 8 he would have been a strong contender. He speaks well, looks good, and has a good story behind him.

The gang of 8 killed him.

Are you a minority with a chip on your shoulder? We weren’t talking about race. Whats with you, what’s your agenda? And FR isn’t a racist website. If you feel so, get off of it and go elsewhere.
